Great themed mystery game. Hitchcock meets Mysterium.
First off, order and delivery were great. Price was excellent (on sale for ~$19), but even at full price the quality of the product would be worth it. The theming of the game to the movie was spot on. Any fans of the Hitchcock film should enjoy trying to solve the mystery. Did a murder occur or are you just a very bored, peeping Tom reporter whose imagination is running away on you? The game has a lot of variation and is definitely has replay value. Great social game for a small group. If you have evert played the game Mysterium, this game is very similar in the way the Director player gives clues to the Watcher players to try an solve the mystery, but the twist of having a possible murder in the mix is what makes this one different. It's all team work until someone gets to close to the villainous truth! The the Director gets to try and mislead the Watchers attempt to uncover the murderous plot. Great fun, even you have never seem the movie...but if you haven't, I recommend that you do. It enhances the game and it is a classic Hitchcock masterpiece. Enjoy!

Super fun game
Felt a bit I drehen Ling to learn but once we got into the game we all really enjoyed it and will keep in our game group. I’m a fan of older films and Hitchcock which drew me to the game and as director it can be difficult to pick out the “clues” but that’s part of the fun.

Cooperative Clue?
family enjoys it, no competitive stress. might not be for everyone on that account. 4 stars not because its a bad game in any way, we just adjusted a couple of small "rules" to make it a bit more enjoyable for our gaming. i would recommend this game. it looks great also.

An incredible game for Rear Window fans
If you're a fan of Rear Window then you're going to love this game! It's rich with details, beautiful artwork, and thoughtful nods to the movie that any Hitchcock fan will appreciate. It took us a while to figure out the rules, but there's a handy instructional video to help. It's well worth the effort because the game itself is exciting and fast-paced with endless outcomes. It took us over an hour for the first game, but we had so much fun that we immediately started up a second game, which only took about 20 minutes. Because each tile changes, you can play this game dozens of times without it getting dull or predictable. My only complaint is that the game designers recast many of the iconic characters, including the clever and quick-witted Stella, played by Thelma Ritter. It doesn't make sense to keep some of the original cast but change the others. Does it affect the game? No. Does it make it any less enjoyable? Not at all. But I was particularly bummed to see Ms. Ritter cut. I love her movies and she deserved to be commemorated in this game, as she's an important part of Rear Window. All that said, this is a fantastic game and I hope to see other Hitchcock-themed board games. (Psycho, please.) As far as players, 3-5 are recommended (you need one to be the Director and two or more to be the Watchers, but we found it can be played with only 2 players. The recommended age is 13+ but we have an observant 7 year old who was able to pick it up pretty easily with some help from a parent.

Curious Detective Fun
This game is beautifully designed both visually and in gameplay. Theres helpful printed instructions and a great video to help everyone get the basics down. It’s great that it’s a team game so no one needs to be “the best” at solving the challenge. The top tip is to play with people willing to play more that one round. First time will be a learning curve. So it’s helpful to play with people that are curios and excited to learn together vs people that give up when frustrated. Also at least one person should know how to play complex table top games.

If you're nosey like me-this is the game for you!
Do we really know our neighbors? And more importantly, do we want to? We played this game night and then watched the actual movie afterwards! For people who have never seen the movie, it's kind of a fun thing to do-play the game-watch the movie later! Very sturdy game pieces, and great for 2 players. There are lots of pieces but it's relatively easy to learn, kid friendly if you have children as well-nothing to over the top gory or bloody! My only "complaint" is that I feel the description cards could of been a little more descriptive for what a player needs to understand about if there's been a murder or not. The pictures are a tad random but again, perhaps they are like that to further confuse the player? You've really got to pay a lot of attention to what's being placed in the window to correctly discern what's going on with the neighbors! Sometimes there's a murder, and sometimes there isn't! Sometimes the cards in the window make absolutely no sense, because it's what you draw! So it can be very tricky-like actual neighbors sometimes! This game has a lot of playability and it's a different outcome all the time! Have a fun mystery game night!

Good game for a group that likes cooperating to achieve a goal, but…
I have played this game only once so far, and found it to be very much like Mysterium. However, the clue cards were either not vague enough or not precise enough. I had to use all the card exchanges I had in order to find cards that were helpful, without leading people down the wrong path. I also had to NOT give clues each turn because I didn’t have any appropriate clue cards for them. I’m not sure what the best solution for that is, maybe having more clue cards to choose from each turn would do it. Or maybe the cards need redoing. Anyway, we had some fun, we also solved the puzzle (there was no murder to solve), but just barely. I will continue to play this game on occasion and perhaps get better at using the available clue cards.
