PRODUKTBESKRIVNING 1/8 (Dia.)

Svart is.

Spend the extra money.
As a homeowner and tinkerer a router is a useful thing to have, and Freud bits have been my go too after a less than satisfactory experience with another brand. While they are not cheap, they appear well made and cut cleanly under normal working conditions, and this itty bitty 1/8 guy is no exception.

So far so good
Only used once so far for some finer detail work but cuts nice and smooth even with a small battery trin router

Super sharp
Like at least one other review stated, this thing will try to murder you right out of the package. It is super sharp which is a good thing but be careful when removing it from its lair. Me: I'll be super careful removing this thing since I already know someone else bled ahead of me The bit: You won't be careful and I'll draw blood from you in the first 15 seconds. One bloody paper towel later, I got the thing removed form it's case. Used it the next day to cut some grooves in 1/2 birch plywood and it went through with no issues and no tear out or splintering. Have always bought Bosch up until this one and I think I may convert to Freud.

Quality as Expected
I am an intermediate woodworker and have in the past resorted to cheaper straight bits only to be disappointed by poor quality and products that don't last very long. This is my third Freud bit and I find the quality far superior to any other bit I have owned. This bit cuts clean with ease, no more tear out or burnt edges. I am proud to say I will be a Freud customer for life and will always seek out a Freud bit as my first choice, only straying if they do not have a product for my application.

Quick and clean dados
I got to make dados for 1/8" plywood, for use inside of shelves and drawers. I can set up an edge guide (offset for a 3/8" OD guide bushing), make several dados, and clean everything up, in the time it takes to get out the table saw and change the blade.

Good Bit
Used on my CNC, does excellent work. Due to the small diameter you must be careful with your feed rate. I have broken two due to my own carelessness. But I always purchased another.

Nice Sharp Router Bit
Very nice little router bit. Very sharp and packaged well. I use it to cut grooves into aprons on tables I build.

Like a hot knife through butter
This bit makes a gorgeous solid clean cut. Currently using it to cut channels to hold plexiglass for a set of wooden closet panels. I bought a cheaper mixed set to discern what bits I might actually use. The cuts from those were rough at best but did allow me to see which one to buy. Consequently using this bit felt comparatively like a hot knife through butter...

So far so good.
So far so good. Cuts clean but leaves a bit of sawdust jammed in channel

decent
all 1/8" router bits are fragile... hit a knot or a sudden different grain direction in hardwoods, or go too fast... boom. That said, these are decent, well priced... and replaceable when boom
