When my husband would spend 8 hours outside burning steel this definitely helped him stay warm! We love how it stretched perfect around his face and it was a very warm and comfy material!

Keeps you warm

I’m an industrial electrician in a mining plant working in the mountains where it gets cold. This item keeps your face warm. However, it’s one size fits all. It’s a little big for me as I’m 5’8”. So I’m thinking someone taller , it would fit perfectly. It’s not stretchable.

Great for protecting from welder burn when used with goggles in tight spaces.

I bought this fire resistant balaclava to use with a pair of auto dimming welding goggles for mig welding in tight spaces. Miller sells a purpose built system that is similar for several hundred dollars, but this inexpensive balaclava paired with an inexpensive pair of auto-dim welding goggles from Princess Auto does the same thing for a fraction of the cost. If you weld in tight spaces and don't want to get welder burn on your face by just using the goggles, this is a good solution.
