Best Socks ever!

These socks are AMAZING! I can wear them with any type of shoes or boots. I tend to walk around a lot from work; they turned uncomfortable shoes/boots to amazing shoes/boots that I can walk around in for multiple hours. Super warm and comfy. Highly recommend

Good length, lasts, warm

Have bought Fox River for a while. Not quite knee high but within 3-4” of knee. Elastic lasts, they launder well, are warm. Will continue to buy. Store I used to buy them at closed local branch so glad Amazon carries.

If only I knew these socks

I found these socks from a gear store, physically touched and wore and amazed by the texture, quality of it. I am not used to live in a northern countries or somewhere snows, I google reviews like a dummy. I did not want to expose this brand, or it will be sold out when I needed them, or the price will be increased because of the higher demand. But life is hard, especially the current market is shrinking. This company typically produces comfortable quality socks for surviving you in the shorty winter. Maybe my comment can help this American factory survive. I wore with my Bean Boots, so it tears right away. Considering the price, it isn't cheap if it breaks by wearing it 3 - 4 times. But boy this is a heavyweight socks for sure, unlike some other brands claiming a supporting sock heavy. If you are seeing this, just order one and try it. You would only regret you didn't order more.

Singles, not double as advertised

We have ordered these socks several times. They are well made, comfortable, however they are advertised as a two pack but arrived as singles. I’m the last they came as two packs, they are still advertised as two packs and the packaging even states two packs, but they arrive as singles.

WOW! My First Trip to Snow Country and These Kept My Feet Toasty and Protected. And They Didnt' Fall Down!!! Would Buy Again!

I am from the south and had never been in the mountains during winter, much less doing snow activities. Took these to Utah for some snowshoeing/mountain hiking in Park City, snow tubing at Soldier Hollow and sightseeing all around the Wasatch Range. I couldn't have been happier than I was with these socks. I would put them on in the morning and pull up to just below the knee. I am a 260lb. man and have muscular and thick calves. Most of my black dress socks give out after a year or so as the elastic wont' stay. To my disbelief, after a full day of snow activities with me acting like a kid, driving back to Salt Lake City hotel, etc. and finally taking them off after being on for at least 10-12 hours, they were still up around my upper calves and had not migrated down one bit. Equally as important, they kept my feet and lower legs WARM. I am very happy with these great socks. And as a HUGE extra bonus, they are made in the GREAT U.S.A.!!!!

Not suited for -26 degree weather

Bought these for work and in hvac you’re always outside. Most of the time these are terrific in keeping my feet warm, so much so that I don’t even have to wear until it reaches under 20 degrees. I own non insulated boots (boots in general don’t breathe) but these still make my feet sweat if it’s not that cold. Wore these during the recent polar vortex with wind chills of -26 degrees on a rooftop and my feet were numb/burning after periods of 1.5 hours outside with a 15 minute break inside (3 hours total) Do not recommend for extreme temps, but -10 to 20 degrees is perfect for the money. Wore my thick Carhartt wool socks during -26 degrees on another roof and they held up much better FYI.

No tan calientes

No son tan gruesos como otras reseñas dicen. Pero si son mas gruesos que un calcetin normal. Por dentro vienen con tramado estilo borrego, lo que hace sudar a los pies, almenos los mios. Los compre para usarlos en un sotano que es frio en invierno y no hay calefaccion, no entra luz, por lo que si es baja la temperatura del cuarto. Los probe y sigo teniendo frios los pies, por lo que no cumplen su funcion. Para evitar el sudor de pies, me pongo unos calcetines de algodon, encima estos calcetines y aparte otros que son ultra gruesos de invierno y asi ya funciona, pero esperaba ya no tener que usar un 3 par de calcetines para no sufrir de frio. Son caros porque solo son un par, al parecer la mejor opcion son los calcetines daneses que son gruesos pero son de $450 pesos para arriba de precio. Resumiendo: 1) Si los vas usar para un cuarto o dentro de tu casa estan bien 2) Para temperaturas frias, botas en frio extremo, no veo que sirvan para calentar tus y probablemente pases frio. 3) Para evitar el sudor de los pies, por la terminacion borrego, recomiendo usar calcetin de algodon por debajo. 4) son largos por lo que llegan unos 2 centrimetros abajo de la rodilla.

The most confortable socks ever

I've bought theses socks a few times already and they are super confortable soft and pretty resistant . They fit perfectly in my construction boots and keep my feet warm. I wash them in cold water bu let them dry on the clothes rack. because i've notice in time when put in dryer they get use in the material specially under the part of the feet. but other than super.

Calientitos y suaves

La tela es muy rica, suave, grueso pero agradable. No los he usado para caminar, mas bien para dormir. Tiendo a tener los pies fríos y la realidad es que si estoy estática, los pies siguen fríos pero sí los siento más protegidos contra el clima frío. Son unisex y por lo tanto un poco más amplios que una talla para mujer, por lo mismo el resorte es argradable en la pantorrila, no lastima. Los que he sentido más calientitos son los "Calcetines térmicos hasta la Rodilla" de la misma marca, pero son más ajustados.

Son una maravilla, extremadamente cómodos

Tengo otro par de otra marca igual de lana y estos son más comodos, no pican y calientan super bien. Son tan comodos que a veces los uso para dormir en las noches que hay mucho frio para mí (al rededor de 0°C). Están grandes y abultados es algo en tener en consideración, son para usar con botas o algun zapato que tenga espacio suficiente, como botas de invierno o algo por estilo.
