Very nice

For reference: 5’3, 147, hourglass but not super curvy Pros: - prevents thigh jiggle - smoothes tummy - stays in place; does not slide down or ride up Cons: - a bit loose. I don’t want it to cut off my circulation but I feel it could’ve been a bit more fitted. It doesn’t snatch you in like others I’ve tried but it works but that might be user error as I’m new to shapewear so I might’ve needed to size down - I specifically purchased this to see if it was a dupe for the HoneyLove SuperPower short to smooth my bra bulge. It’s not as high as the HL; it comes halfway over my bra bulge and stops, pushing most of the fat up and making it stand out more. So it’s definitely not as long as that and I’ll probably have to breakdown and buy that for items where it’s 1000% needed but this has been great. I’ve worn it once now. I can see the bra bulge with dresses on but it wasn’t so bad I couldn’t leave the house. So if you don’t have a bra bulge or aren’t worried about it, or have a shaping cami or top, this is great. I give it a 9/10, would definitely recommend.

One of my Go- tos

I have back rolls and it does a great job of covering them. Gives nice fupa coverage as well. It is my go to when I wear form fitting dresses. If you wear a form fitting dress of a thinner material, you can see the design in it through the garment. When I wear things like this, I don’t want people to be able to tell. It pairs great with fall/winter form fitting dresses. I also love how it does not press into my thighs, thus making it more obvious I’m wearing it, definitely a plus there as well. There’s no clip in the crotch which was definitely a win! Lastly, I got a Large and a medium probably would have been better to get that SUPER SNATCH! I’m 5’3 185lbs by the way.

Very impressive

I have a really hard bodie type to fit, my hips measures round 46-48 and my waist is 26, and shape wear is a pain due to rolling and being uncomfortable. This shape wear is the best I’ve ever had, I never even feel it and it DOES NOT ROLL! Which is incredibly awesome. Highly recommend this to my hour glass-pear shaped girls out there this one is for you. Yay

Holds well

The media could not be loaded. This product was great for what I needed it for. Smooth the tummy!! I’m a robust 2x & it worked very nicely. Problem was, the front of my dress was very smooth material. It sucked me in & smoothed me out! Ummm ????except it has 2 lines in the front that you could see through the material. It gave it a texture that shouldn’t have been. & the “bathroom” hole was a bit snug. Glad it had one tho!! Good value for the price!!

Ordering by size chart WON'T result in firm control

After reading reviews, I decided to order according to my actual measurements 44bust, 37waist, 45hips, 36i bra. Garment was no challenge to put on. Although it smoothed the crease at my waistline into a curve, it really didn't perform any cinching at all. The top elastic that hugged my ribs was snug without uncomfortable punching & I think the silicone grip strip on inside surface would help keep it from sliding down after several hours of wear, but the torso portion, waist, hips, butt, and thigh portions wasn't snug enough to hold me in to more easily fit into any clothing that I've almost outgrown. I have the Maidenform bodysuit with built-in push-up bra cups & convertible/strapless options. That garment has plastic boning in front & on sides, which is extremely effective for shaping and cinching. Because the photo of these bottoms showed contrasting vertical bands in front like my bodysuit of same brand, I thought that this part on the bottoms would have boning as well (on other garment the contrasting bands are the fabric channels that hold the front boning). Alas, I was mistaken and disappointed. I'm not sure whether sizing down would offer more firm control. I think I'll just stick with another bodysuit I have (underbust style) that's made with the very effective crisscrossing, extra layer of powernet in front and back of the torso. My legs/thighs are pretty muscular and don't need shapewear, so I don't want to bother with trying a smaller size of these control pants if the midriff portion isn't going to do it's job. I'll mention also that on this item, the extra layer of power net for "control" is only in the front... the front, which is phone to the back, which is only a single layer. I don't see how the garment designer would expect a cinching or tummy flattening effect when there is not a balance between the front and back fabric tension. It certainly doesn't help control any back fat between bra band and waistline. The maker's control cami that is reinforced in the front and back and long enough to pull down over my hips. In the same size, Large, it does a much better job than these control bottoms.

Definitely not firm control

This style of shapewear mimicks the one I have but falls short! Not firm control! More of a medium. Legs don't have silicone to hold in place but I did wear with pants and they stay put without rolling up. Waist does have silicone on top. For reference..I'm 5'4 129lbs and I ordered the medium....maybe a small would've been better for me.

Lightweight and easy up, more fabric needed at the top portion

I was surprised by how light this shapewear is and yet it is quite supportive in the tummy area where I need it most. The leg portion is wide enough that it does not bind and there is rubber at the top of the band which tends to keep it in place most of the time. Have worn it all day since it arrived and have felt no discomfort. The waistband could have come up higher as I am long in the torso. Otherwise, quite pleased with this purchase.

I used it under a silk white dress and you couldn't notice it. Reduces the "wobbly bits". Very comfortable fit too.

Tricky to get on if you have an hourglass figure

Maidenform Women's Firm Foundations-Hi-Waist Thigh Slimmer What I particularly like about this garment is that there is no elastic or even any hem around the thighs. The material simply ends, which reduces the likelihood of getting an unsightly bulge where the shapewear ends. This is a distinct advantage over the equivalent M&S garment I have. I have a whole variety of shape wear for wearing underneath various figure-hugging garments to smooth out the lumps and bumps. It took trying on numerous different styles and sizes before I found ones that suited me and fitted me. I would recommend, if you are new to shape wear or to this particular brand, that you order a variety of different styles and sizes and set aside time to try them all on together so you can work out which styles and sizes suit you. This particular item is useful for wearing underneath fitted or clingy trousers and goes all the way from the underbust to mid-way down the thighs. It provides light support to smooth out some of the lumps and bumps without adding bulk or leaving unsightly bulges. === THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT === * Attractive plain styling * No visible seams to show through your clothing * Smooths the waistline * No unsightly bulge where the shape wear ends, because it goes all the way up to your underbust and all the way down to your mid-thighs without any terminal elastic, seam or even hem * Flawless finish, fabric and stitching * Lovely neutral flesh colour that (at least if you are pale-skinned) means you can wear it under even white clothing without it showing through === NIGGLES === * It's a bit of a struggle getting into the garment, especially if you have a big butt! * It's a bit of a Bridget Jones "big pants" look! * I have an hourglass figure and didn't find the garment had much of an effect on my waist (though I couldn't have pulled a smaller size over my hips) * The garment is not as robust as my M&S equivalents For sale at the time of writing this review at £35.19 (RRP £45).
