BINGO!!!
These lights are what I needed. My neighbors must have some sort of Bee hive or something going on because there are always a few bees buzzing around the same area everyday. I would find myself sweeping up a bunch a dead bees off my porch every morning and realized they had to be attracted to my porch light. I researched and took a chance on these and BINGO, I haven't swept up one bee in over a week. THANK YOU THANK YOU! That was so frustrating to say the least and I'm very happy these work.

Deters bugs around the porch light

I live in an apartment and I used this light bulb for my porch light. I leave it on 24/7, I ordered this April 2022 and it stayed bright until about 3 months ago. It is almost dead but hasn't completely died yet, it is very dim now. Your call if you think it is worth the price for that amount of time. I can tell a difference in the amount of insects compared to when it was bright and now that it's almost dead.

Actually works for REDUCING bugs hanging around the light
My front doorway has been covered in bugs with other anti-bug lights that I bought from Home Depot or Lowes. The only dim, crappy bug light sold by HD burned out within 3 months, so I decided to try one from Amazon. This is the first bug light that has actually worked in 5 years to reduce bug numbers, which has consequently reduced the number of spiders and spider webs. So far I'm 7 months in with this bulb and it's just as bright as the day I installed it No bug light bulb is going to eliminate all bugs from showing up, so the videos of people showing bugs still around the light are from people with unrealistic expectations. Bottom line: this bulb works great to significantly reduce the number of bugs that swarm the light and it's pretty darn bright. I absolutely recommend this bulb. Just be realistic and remember that NO BULB WILL COMPLETELY STOP BUGS from being attracted to the light.

Pleasing yellow LED bulb that minimizes insect swarms
I have no complaints about this 120-volt LED yellow bug light. I use four of them to illuminate the front and back porch. Attractive lighting and also helpful for security. Few if any insects swarm around them. I've used them long enough to know that this brand bulb will last about two years before it fails. (Similar cheaper LED bug lights from a popular mega store last about 6 to 12 months). They are on timers so I know they are on about 9 hour every night. Estimated lifespan calculations: 2 years (730 days x 9 hours = 6570 total hours). I don't know how the manufacture could possibly verify it but the package states 22 years or 25,000 hours being "on" but only at the rate of three hours per 24 hours. I don't consider that realistic in real world usage unless you live in a place where night lasts three hours (maybe in Alaska during parts of the year?)!

It’s a decent light
Definitely doesn’t keep all the bugs away but it keeps 95% away specially the huge bugs. I can walk in my house comfortably without ducking and dodging bugs now. I mostly just see moths sitting around it and maybe a few small flying insects. Would I buy it again? Yes without a doubt. It does flicker sometimes when you first turn it on but it should stop within a few seconds or minute
