LOVE the app!

The scale works great- I've been using it over a month now. The companion app keeps me motivated and logging my weight and food daily. I actually feel that I've learned a lot about weight management with the app, and how my body responds to certain foods- my diet habits have definitely changed in a good way. There are some times that the app is hard to use (hard to find actions, like deleting a food) and occasionally the calorie calculation will glitch and you have to re-log the food; but it's not a major issue. There is also a recipe section and social aspect in the app, if you choose to use it.

Works so well.

The internet connection stopped, so I have to keep phone near and rely on the blue tooth. I’m sure it’s just a reset issue. Otherwise she works well and keeps up with myself and my husband individually. I like how smart it is. If I forget to blue tooth right away it always catches up later so I can have information close at hand. It’s sturdy and beautiful. This was a great buy for my weight loss journey.

Surprisingly consistent and accurate

Accuracy was surprising. A 30lbs dumbbell read 30.2lbs. It appears to be well within that margin for my bodyweight as well, when compared to a properly-zero'd medical spring scale. I was also pleased with the consistency. In my experience, digital scales like this can vary by a pound or more even over immediately-consecutive readings. Even after moving the scale to different parts of my floor, each time I would step on produced the same result, with one reading changing by 0.2lbs. Would buy again, if this one breaks. I received my scale minutes ago, and will update this review if anything changes.

Sync with Fitbit, My Fitness Pal and Google Fit is flaky

I really like this scale. It's a nice size, seems accurate, attractive and the app works relatively well. However, having switched between scales before, for me, being able to sync to other services such as Fitbit, My Fitness Pal and Google Fit is critical. Otherwise, if you switch scales you lose all your weight history. My previous scale (Renpho) worked great, but would only sync via Bluetooth. I had to open the app after each weigh in or the data would not sync at all. The scale did store multiple weigh ins, so if I didn't open the app each time it would still sync the next time I opened the app. But once I went a few weeks without opening the app and lost a bunch of weigh ins. I tried their Wi-Fi version of the scale, but syncing to other services almost never worked. This Etekcity scale uses Wi-Fi, which is better. It can (theoretically) sync your data over Wi-Fi without opening the app at all. It seems to work, however, syncing to other services such as Fitbit, My Fitness Pal and Google Fit only happen after opening the app. And even then, I found the sync to be flaky. The most reliable was FitBit, but even that was not totally reliable. It was hit or miss if my weigh-in would sync to FitBit. Probably about 8 out of 10 times it synced. The other services were much worse, around 5 out of 10 times it worked. Even though it costs twice the price, I think I'm going to have to go back to Withings. I had one of their very first scales and it worked perfectly. Always synced to all services reliably without using the app at all. The only reason I switched to Renpho was it had many more measurements, but the latest Withings now has all the additional measurements also. It just costs a lot more. I guess you get what you pay for. The other advantage of Withings over Renpho and Etekcity is you can access all your data via their website, so you don't need to use an app at all. Renpho and Etekcity only allow accessing your data via the app.

Smart Scale

Bought this for the bluetooth and WiFi features and saw the previous postive reviews, I have a Ironman scale from Tanita and this smartscale if very accuate to the Ironman also on the Ironman i have to pull up the handles. Setting up the WiFi was somewhat hard to setup at first but I got working, and all the measurements are sent to app to your phone.

Great Product

I was skeptical about this scale before it arrived but it’s amazing. It’s 100% accurate as long as you place it on a flat hard surface (no carpet). I weighed in at home and then at my doctors appointment a few hours later and they both were spot on.

Works great, if not syncing to Samsung health

First off, the reviews here seem to be combined from all their different models. So to be clear, I am writing about the model with Bluetooth and wifi. The scale by itself is great. I love all the information it reads and I also really like that it keeps track of all your previous weigh ins on the vesync app. Even if the app is closed, I weight in and when ever I open the app it syncs and updates. Now to the things I don't like..... 1. It does not always sync to my Samsung health, it does so only when it feels like it which is half the time. I've had best luck when both apps are open at same time. Sometimes it goes in instantly into Samsung health and sometimes it refuses even if you weigh in multiple times. 2. When it does sync with Samsung health it's a joke! Only information it sends to Samsung health is weight, BMI, and body fat. What happened to all the other parameters? Also if they fix bugs with syncing to Samsung health and showing more than 3 parameters I will give another star. I really hope they fix these issues with an update!

great scale

All I wanted was a scale that was easy to use and told me what I weighed. Don't want or need a smart scale. This is perfect! Easy to read and use. Display is large and lights up and the price was great.

Great smart scale

This smart scale feels solid and well built with a large, bright, and very easy to read display. It measures extremely quickly. There is a good number of measurements it takes, and if you have an iPhone, the measurements it records in the VeSync mobile app sync seamlessly to Apple Health.

Easy to sync with Android

Contrary to what the quick start guide states you should not download the VeSyncFit but the VeSynk app. Then you can easily sync with Whatsapp. Excellent product that can easily be shared with all family members.

Great product that comes with great customer service!

My experience with this company has been exceptional. The product gives very consistent results and it’s very convenient to use. Allowing to sync with the app keeps track of my progress. If you run into any issues, their customer service department is exceptionally good and they will help you until you are satisfied with the product
