Good Quality, and Reflective Metal Shade Amplifies Bulb Light

The label advises washing hands after using due to phthalates and lead in product. If you have arthritis or weak hands the clamp is a little hard to open, but it does clamp very firmly onto whatever you fasten it to. It's good quality and does the job.

Perfect!!

This light is very basic...tight sturdy clamp, long cord and on and off switch....nothing extra i.e. timers, bulbs, etc. I wasn't looking for anything but this...a basic clamping light to use for my "budding" plants over the fall and winter months. So far so good. Its alot easier than panel lights and was very cost effective leaving me to spend more on light bulbs and other gardening necessities. I plan to order 2 more to clip on beds for reading lamps. They don't get hot with these special purple LED bulbs in so I hope the same is true with just a regular bulb. I recommend these to anyone looking to keep their plants in good growing condition when indoors.

perfecter a small pantry

We have a small pantry in our basement that does not have enough illumination from the ceiling light about 4 feet away from the door. Fortunately there is an electrical outlet inside the pantry. So the clamp light is perfect for our needs. It is small enough that it does not get in the way of our searching for items, but it is bright enough to provide plenty of lighting when we are searching.

Painted black base white, don't understand why the whole holder is not white?! Besides that difficulty, easy to install, now blends better into the white ceiling. All is good.

reflector hood is poorly attached to socket

Initially the light looked fine. The cord, socket, switch and clamp are of good quality but the reflector hood became loose and no longer secure to the socket. It’s a threaded joint and seems to have failed. No possible to secure or tighten it. Does not appear to be damaged.
