Very reliable - No gotchas
I've now installed and actively use about 30 of these. I use way more if you include the similar Jasco switches. These are very reliable and effective dimmers. I have tried to "switch" to other smart dimmers/switches and always return to these. ## Pros: * I have found that when/where other smart switches hum, this one does not hum. It is always my safe go-to. This cannot be emphasized enough. Along the same lines, it can handle 600W, which basically means that it can replace any existing dimmer circuit. Inovelli can only handle somewhere around 300 to 400W, depending on how you configure the tabs. * The switch form factor is small compared to others (which is great for cramped boxes) * You can change the mode of the blue glowing LED (night light, on when load is on, or always off) * The energy reports are frequent and seem accurate enough to determine if a bulb is burned out * I have never had an issue with these devices extending the ZigBee mesh network range or mishandling packets. These are strong and proper ZigBee router devices. * The reversibility of the load/line wires makes it harder for first time intallers to mess up (but not really necessary). * The 3way add-on switch wiring is very simple, once you have mapped out own house wiring. This is way better than the Leviton ZigBee switches (trash btw). Although I am a strong fan of this wiring type, I'm not sure that it is easy for first time installers to execute, if they are simply following the tutorial without understand their setup. ## Cons: * The biggest con (and why I'm looking for an alternative) is the feel of the switch paddle. It is very rigid with a hard click. The paddle travel is almost none. This becomes very apparent when you install these switches in a house that mixes classic decora switches, which can be quickly whacked when walking through a doorway. You can't do the same for these smart switches. You need to actively concentrate on pushing the top/bottom of the paddle. The Inovelli Red switches feel much better, but their dimmer hums with many many typical incandescent bulbs. * They don't seem to provide a ZigBee signal for when the switch paddle was clocked manually, so you can do fancy automations for when someone manually tap the switch. * They don't do a fade in/out. This could be viewed as a feature or an issue. I would like to see a setting that allows you to change this. All in all, when you turn these switches on, they turn on the light almost instantly (similar to a classic slider dimmer) without wasting time. I can't complain too much about effectiveness here. * There is no indication of dim level on the switch. This is a minor detail, but having dim level is very helpful when you have a bank of multiple dimmers together and you are trying to figure out why a room has dim lighting.

Amazing
Works really good with my lights. Love the fact that I can control them with an app

durability issues
My house has about 40 of these installed, I use 'home assistant' and these will also pair with Alexa 4gen. However the issue is durability, After a while, and this could be anywhere from 3 months to a year the ZigBee will fail and it will not pair up again. This requires me to have 'quick connect' in the box to replace them and spend 30 min to get the automation to work again. I have replaced about half of them over 2 years. I have several that have never given an issue, and others that need to be replaced in weeks/months. I used to run Zwave, and I do have several Zwave items on my network and they never fail. It seems the older Zigbee worked better when GE owned the company, but I am thinking the quality has gone down since ENbrighten has taken over. I would suggest that if you are going to use them, use quick connectors so replacing them is fairly quick. I would also look for cheaper switches, there are several out there that might work better for your specific need if you don't have a huge deployment as I have.

Works great with Home Assistant
As others have already said, installation was easy. Setup was under 10 minutes start to finish. The holes on the back of the switch used to insert wires and tighten down are perfect. Especially if you are connecting one switch from another. Once everything was connected it was recognized within seconds by my Home Assistant instance with ZigBee USB dongle. The switch was setup automatically and indicated as a "light" by home assistant. The blue LED light in the "flipper" of the switch is really not that noticeable and so far rarely lights up anyway -but the box says there is a way to turn that off if you want to... I didn't feel that I needed to bother. Bet you won't either. Plus, it'll be handy if I ever need to use the blue LED light to identify the device through software. The switch under the flipper is an "air gap." you use it to turn off the device when changing out LED bulbs on the device. The white strip next to the flipper doesn't do anything, as far as I can tell. I'm sure it does, but I haven't discovered it's function. The way you turn on off the switch is just a quick lift up or down. The switch doesn't quite "toggle" like regular cheap wall switches, but I kind of like it! To raise or dim the lights you just hold the switch up or down. Finally, The switch fit very well in my switch box which was about 1/3 filled with wires. Plenty of room.

excellent solution
These units are zigbee, and dimmable. They do require Neutral wire. My only gripe is price point. It's expensive to swap out 20 units in a household. I also wish Enbrighten had a 'switch' model without the dimmer ability for a cheaper solution. I like that you get both paddle colors, thats a big + , another gripe is the confusion of 'addon' vs basic unit. When you search Amazon you get the Addons offered which do NOT work as a standalone.

Needs the Enbrighten Skill to work properly.
Physical installation was a snap. Pairing was a bit more difficult, until I realized that these switches need the Enbrighten Skill enabled on the Alexa app. On I enabled the skill, and put the switches ( I installed 3) in pairing mode, Alexa discovered them in about 10 seconds. So far so good.

Lucking features
With this dimmer you never know how long you should or can press the dim button, therefore two major CONS: 1. No visual indication of dimming level (LEDs on the side like Lutron and Leviton dimmers have) 2. No programmable/hard-set stop level for dimmer below with the light just turns off.

Waste of Money and Time
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! These dimmer switches refuse to go into pairing mode and there is no customer service available to support you. The Treatlife smart switches are much cheaper and easier to use.

Best in wall zigbee dimmer
Best in-wall zigbee dimmer i've found. For anyone reading, if I could do it again, I'd avoid Zigbee for inwall applications. Use Lutron Caseta's system, much better for local availability and dimmers that do not require neutral.
