Cheap Instant-automatic-pop up tent!

I would like to make a review for those of you that are considering a small tent like this. (2person Elevon Tent) My intentions are to use this inside of a shelter building while camping, do I think this would be a good outdoor tent……my quick answer would be NO! The seams are very weak and you can practically see daylight thru the bottom corner seams, which would mean rain would get in very easily. The dimensions are correct in the description, at best you will be able to fit a full size trifold or blowup mattress…..but twin size would be max if you also need room for any gear, as this tent doesn't have protected screen room. Another negative for me is that it doesn't have double zippers, in which I cant lockup with a padlock on the outside if I want to leave this tent up when im away from my site……this was important for me, but at this price…what do you expect. A positive which is not listed in the description….both doors have full transparent mesh screens, separately zipped behind the doors to keep bugs out and still have ventilation. & yes…it has 2 doors(also not clearly described). The zippers on the doors seem very weak/cheap, I will probably spray some wd40, etc to ensure they don't get stuck. I am 5’9 ..so honestly after sitting/laying inside…. I would say 2 people my size would fit or 1 adult and a couple medium dogs would be fine. Both setup and take down are quick…1minute maybe…no poles to assemble. I was able to fit it back in the bag afterwards, which is a surprise from previous tents I’ve had. In conclusion, if you are wanting a quick setup-takedown/cheap tent to use in dry situations…give this a try…Amazon gives you plenty of time to return if it doesn't fit for you. With the lack of info in the description/photos of this tent, I hope I have helped somewhat with your quest. Good luck & happy camping!!!!!

Too big for backpacking

Not compact enough for backpacking
