Not much absorbency here.....
These pads are way too thin and the slightest wetness will soak the entire pad. Tried to use for doggie training, but need something much thicker. Spend a bit extra and get better quality.

Not Consistent Quality!
I have ordered these pads several times from Amazon, in the PAST have been very satisfied in the quality for the money. I am very disappointed with the last order, my ratings are based on my most recent purchase. Attached is a picture to compare purchases that were about 2 months apart. The pad on the top was purchased 1st and is thick, stays together, is textured and fairly absorbent. The pad on the bottom is thin, flat, sticks together and rips when unfolding and has very little absorbency. I need to use triple the amount with this lot as compared to the last lot purchased, I have 300 pads in this box that I am sure I will go thru quickly due to the poor quality. I use these for several applications in the house and this new lot is nearly useless as a pad for urination. For the money they are a good deal and they are the exact perfect size for what I need. I will definitely open the package right away so that I can return if it’s a lot with poor quality. I will certainly update my review after my next purchase.

Good light duty protection, but they won't properly hold a whole lot of liquid.
These are thin and do not really hold a whole lot of moisture, but I knew that before purchasing them. I needed these to keep my senior cat from messing up my flooring in her last days when she couldn't always make it to the litter box. They performed exactly as planned: they caught all her messes and prevented any leaking onto the carpet. They also saved the sofa when she decided to take a nap there a couple times. If you need a very light duty barrier that is easy to use, this is for you. A plastic tarp/paint cloth is cheaper, sure, but it is large and unwieldy. These are small enough to place wherever needed with ease and pick up after with minimal effort.

there is no filling
Perfect size for changing tables. Arrived within 2 days. However, it says "tissue fill" - there is no fill. There is gift bag tissue thin paper on top of blue backing. We'll see how that holds up to baby's messes. I will update later. Update: yes, it holds up to spit and pee accidents just fine as long as you remove the liner from the changing table right after changing the baby. Wouldn't hold up to adult accidents.

Cotton strips easily, get NorthShore instead
My wife and I happily usedNorthShore Premium Blue Disposable Underpads (Chux), 17 x 24, Case/100 (4/25s) at ~$0.28/pad for our first child's diaper changing needs, but switched to this one (~$0.10) for almost a third of the cost for the second child. Big mistake. We don't care too much about the thickness or absorbency (just catch the occasional accidents and leaks!), but these underpads pill and strip way too much. Whenever we scoop up our infant, cotton strands are stuck to our fingers and baby, resulting in much gnashing of teeth and non-PG exclamations. Whereas the previous sets were good until leaks or smears, these are only good for a few changes, even if still clean. I'm orderingNorthShore Economy Disposable Underpads, Small, 17x24 in., Pack/70 now to test (~$0.20/pad), but if they're also bad, I'm definitely reverting to the NorthShore Premium.

Durable!
My roommate and I breed snakes and use these for them. We have ordered these for years from various companies. It appears they're getting thinner and thinner as time goes on. Still a great product and still hold the urine and defecation at this point.

Good if you know what it's limits.
Know it's limits. If you need a pad that won't let liquids through this is fine. For absorbency of true liquids of the watery consistency a paper towel is better. We used them on our changing table for an infant and is not absorbent enough when urin or liquid poo gets on it. It does protect though.

Fit for purpose - these pads initially seemed very thin based on the comments that I read. They are 2-ply and not like the usual 6-7 ply for heavier absorption. That being said for the purpose (underlinement for a baby-change table) ideal one-time padding to absorb any incidental discharges. Highly recommend the product for the same purpose and I even cut it in half for our little one to make it more manageable as a size.
