These Are Great

I have older Duofold thermals that are still performing well. These are even better and easier on my skin.

Keeps you warm but not too hot

I just got myself a Ducati monster (motorcycle) to ride to work and back .. I live and work in the bay and it be cold when the moon out and sometimes when the sun out .. so these were perfect and comfortable for the ride. I work as a trucker and I can wear these for my long hours and they are the perfect tightness .

A Little Disappointed

I have 4 pairs of the old Duofold Polypropylene mid weight long johns that I love, they no longer sell them and they are getting long in the tooth. I am looking for a replacement, hoping these would do the trick, but they don't. As one reviewer said they waist band is thin, it looks like a normal 1 1/4" waist band, but that is just the sewn part, there is a 1/2 inch rubber band sewn into this band. I don't like it, but in use it is no factor. They do the job on my cold walks just fine, but they bind on my pants, so that is going to be a no go on my hikes. I guess these will be regulated to the bottom of the pile for when the other pairs are in the wash.

More underwear than pants

I'm a big fan of Duofold's polyester products. They are great for winter active wear and stay cozy. These Flex weight pants are slightly lighter weight than the Varitherm pants, also by Duofold. Both of them are slightly see thru, and too light to wear as outerwear in my opinion. These Flex weight have the front flap style of underwear, while Varitherm has a flat front and draw string, so if you want longjohns, flex weight may be your style. If you are looking for house pants or (slightly see thru) leggings that look like pants, you might consider Varitherm. I cant really say too much about durability yet, as I havent owned them long enough, but Flex feels less durable and more subject to pilling than Varitherm.

Fabulous for skiing and/or hunting

These have gotten very hard to find in "brick & mortar" stores so was pleased to find on Amazon. My husband LOVES them.

Comfy

6' 4" and 275lbs needed good length and some stretch for big thighs and butt. Have worn them twice and they are not too hot/sweaty. Adaptable to layer clothing for comfort so far between 20 - 40 degrees and windy.
