Purchased this for my 20 month old grandaughter who is unable to walk or stand. Her hospital rehab team prescribed this, I ordered it and it arrived very fast, under 24 hrs. Very pleased with the product.

I am giving this 5 starts but...

I am writing this review in hopes to help others in making a decision. First of all, the product itself, 10/10 recommend. It is perfect. Easy to assemble, sturdy, looks great, all the above! However, I could not decide which side to buy. The description has you go by weight. My son is 6, he is 55lbs, he is about 46 inches. We got the 'extra small' and have it on the tallest adjustable setting. I question if it is too short for him, and if he were just an inch taller, it would not fit him. If I had the time (he really needs this) I would have returned it and ordered the 'small'. I am not sure how/why this goes by weight, there should be heights.

Better than I expected!

Wasn't sure if the gait trainer would be good quality because I had seen it for way more money on other websites and thought this might be a cheaper version or something, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's great and came way faster than expected! Very easy to put together and folds nicely to transport it. My daughter is almost 3 years old, 3 feet tall and this seems to be just about perfect for her size. The color is even better in person. If you're on the fence about this I would say go for it!

Misleading dimensions

I'm bought the adult size I'm 4'11 so it's adjustable to my height but the width is based on the distance between the swivel adjusters on the front wheel which is about 2 in outside of the main frame ( the part you're standing inside ) when you measure from pole to pole the part you're standing inside of it's really only 22 in but it's labeled as 27

Great Little Walker

My two year old wears AFOs and hip braces and uses this walker daily. I love that it’s lightweight and hangs on the back of our stroller so we can use both when we go to the zoo, museum, etc. What it doesn’t do well is handle uneven surfaces. We have to make sure he doesn’t face plant on gravel, grass, etc. The entire walker will tip forward on these surfaces. Inside and on paved surfaces, it is great, though.

Light weight

We ordered the Nimbo posterior walker for my 18 month old instead of going through insurance. It’s light weight and easy to carry to PT appointments. PT is happy with functionality of walker. I would suggest getting a Velcro strap to make carrying walker easier when not using it.

Great multi-function tool for kids with mobility issues...

Our son has CP and this is another one of those items I wish we had invested in sooner, rather than waiting and hoping we wouldn't need it. It's light weight, portable, but sturdy, and does exactly what I expected it to do. Our 4yo uses it as a walker, both backwards and forwards sometimes, and we also use it as a frame to surround him if he's standing at a table and needs a little extra security. (It won't stop a fall in both directions, obviously, because the wheels only lock in one direction, but it gives him something to grab onto, and we can compensate with soft furniture). It's a great product for the price. We have a more expensive gait trainer, but it is too heavy and difficult to lug around, and it has straps and settings for everything, so our kid can't just climb into it the way he does this one. I only wish the wheels on this walker could be locked in both directions, because my kiddo likes to use the walker backwards (with the bar in front of him) sometimes, if he's feeling a little less secure. However, this was made very clear in the item's description, so I won't fault it for that.
