Good plug cover

It is functional & easy to install. It does protect the outlets from small children (and our DOG!!) - but the unit does not square up firmly with the outlets. It can get knocked out of plumb. It still covers the plugs, but it just looks a bit cock-eyed.

Only covers standard plugs

Nice cheap plug cover, but the problem is it’s too small to work with anything but a basic plug. Once you try to use it you will quickly realize how many things have nonstandard plugs. It worked for one outlet but I’ll be buying a larger one for the other ones I need to cover.

Great!

We have automatic feeders for our cats and they kept pulling the plugs out the wall. I took a drill bit and made holes in the front face of it instead of the bottom and fed the cord through then plugged it into the wall. Works great

Could be better

This would be a much better product if this could pick up all three holes (top, middle, bottom). I can only pick up the middle hole and the cover is weak. My 10 month old grabs it so hard that the whole cover system doesn't stay flush under movement. Still stays on but not heavy duty design or smart design.

Waste of money

The media could not be loaded. waste of money. The plastic is so soft and thin u can pull it of the wall while crewed in. Outlet centre screw only work but doesn’t hold it tight against the outlet. Tried different screws and still didn’t work. Once cover is on, can still twist sided to side because the plastic is to soft.

Good but doesn't fit all usb plugs

It's a decent product. I don't think my daughter will be able to open this but a little disappointed it's not deeper and maybe wider. From the pictures you can tell I can't fit the usb plug for her monitor. I tried another base plug and that was still too big. Luckily we have alot of usb plug options at home because my husband and I are teckies so we were able to figure it out with a flat type plug. Took a few tries to get a small enough plug. Just be aware that it won't fit those big usb type plugs.

This is basically useless for non-decora plugs (mounting with the centre screw). The screws included aren't the right thread for standard outlets so they'll strip. Luckily I had some spare ones that worked. Once installed the outlet cover will still spin and there is the potential for the plug to fall out - or worse arc if the plug comes out partially. It would probably do much better with decora style plugs that use two screws.

Easy to install, not wide enough.

If you have the type of plug head that's flat but angles out like in the following product that I've linked to, it won't fit. Definitely not big enough for wall wart AC adapters, or probably most plugs that are bigger than standard. If you have something simple like a floor lamp, it will work. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Very narrow outlet cover

I purchased two 2-packs of these outlet covers for baby proofing my home. It seems secure and should work with both decora and standard outlet styles. HOWEVER, these outlet covers are very slim and narrow in profile - which basically meant that it doesn't always cover the entire outlet. In my home, failed to cover the entire outlet hole in the drywall so it left a narrow gap between the cover and the drywall that the baby could fit her fingers through and potentially touch the live electrical wiring in the home. These outlet covers worked at my parents' home though, since their drywall holes were smaller, so it really is your mileage may vary.
