Perfect portable bassinet!

This thing folds up so easy for travel! I originally bought this as a traveling bassinet for when we visit family for my newborn to sleep in but it's practically become our everyday bassinet for her. It's not so huge that it takes up too much space but spacious enough to give baby plenty of room plus the handy net storage below for diapers and things and zippable top makes it impossible for my toddlers to mess with their little sister nonstop. Definitely recommend to parents wanting a high quality and easily portable bassinet. Not to mention the cute colors!

Fully Enclosed gives peace of mind

As with other reviews, I got this because we have cats. It definitely keeps them out. The canopy is reasonably sturdy--not rock solid, but enough that one (or more) could jump on top and it wouldn't collapse in on the kid. Another advantage of the canopy is that you can put sheets on top to keep it darker inside. There is mesh around the sides, so you aren't blocking air. If you don't want/need a canopy, don't get this. It makes the opening smaller and there are mostly useless straps (to hold the canopy down). Other good things are that it is super easy to assemble and collapse down (does take a bit of muscle though), and the legs have a little flair out so it seems quite stable (e.g., if cats or dogs or other kids knock it). Nothing this light is going to avoid tipping under any circumstances, but it should be sufficient in most cases. One negative are that there aren't great sheets for it. As another reviewer said, queen size pillowcases are pretty good (standard are the same width, but not as long, so it just leaves one end uncovered). The mattress is an inch or two narrower and slightly longer than the pillowcase I got, so it doesn't fit super tightly, but it suffices. Another negative is that the zipper isn't very smooth. My kid often wakes up when I start zippering, but if I'm slow and hold the zipper tightly to prevent jiggling, it's usually okay. The zipper on mine also had a catch where it isn't smooth (again, low quality zipper). I almost sent it back, but after working it for several minutes, it is good enough.

Easy to Set Up and Use

So full confession, this was not purchased for a baby, but rather a dachshund who is on crate rest due to IVDD. I wanted something with a firm bottom and would be easy to move around from room to room so we could keep him close. This would out perfect. It's a great size, he's under 16 pounds and it supports up to 25 so it's perfect. It's a very lightweight bassinet, so it's easy to move around the house, and it took no time at all to set up. I like the canopy for keeping the pup in when we have to leave the room for a few minutes. My only real complaint to mention about the bassinet is with the canopy which has these straps to secure it when not in use. The straps have snaps, which are not the easiest to snap or to get into position to secure. Since it's being used for a dog and not a baby I'm not worried about suffocation or anything like that, but if I was using it for a baby, I might find it a bit more on the annoying side. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Perfect small size and sturdy. Good for price.

My baby is still not due for another month so I will update this later once she arrives and sleeps in it, BUT it does feel super sturdy and secure. Including the canopy, which was a little hard to zip but felt secure once closed (gotta keep the cat out lol). I had a really small space to work with and was looking for something small so this worked out perfect thankfully!! Three things to note: The padding is EXTREMELY THIN, like very thin, definitely need to buy another mattress to go inside because the board underneath is way too hard The box was damaged when it arrived, i dont know if that was during shipping process or if this was someones return because I also noticed a tiny stain on the padding (pictured) I only mention because i notice that was a complaint amongst lower rating reviews It does have a strange smell, which could be from manufacturing, but a good cleaning and airing out seems like it will be good enough though

Better than the most expensive bassinet!

My husband and I are first time parents and fell victim to the targeted ads for the Snoo. Well our baby absolutely hated and we ended up having to return it after shelling out $1200. We ended up coming across the bassinet and panic purchased it. Im so glad we did! Our baby sleeps peacefully in the bassinet. I wish we would have bought it initially because it has gotten our baby out of our bed finally!

Love this so much!

I Love this bassinet so much! We had our first baby end of Novemver and she is still in the bassinet now at the end of March. It's a nice size and I will be sad once she starts rolling and has to go to her crib. Even though it is a large bassinet I can still fit it between my bed and dresser so it's perfect for our room space. I chose one with the net dome as we have a cat and I was worried she would try to sleep with the baby. I zip the net part up once baby is in there and she sleeps through it. The cat likes to watch the baby from the outside so I recommend anyone with snuggly pets to get something like this! I love the little storage hanger on the bottom. We have a really high bed so I wish it were a little taller but that would not affect my buying stance! Love it, get it!
