Pretty good for problem feet in sandals with a 2" heel

Got a pair of high-quality Sofft brand dress sandals with adjustable straps and a nice, stable 2" heel, but also problem feet - wide, flat, but narrow heels - so even these are hard to wear for any extended time. I use customized arch supports inside closed shoes, but since that's not an option here, I am giving these a try. Arch support is surprisingly good, much better than anything else ready-made for a sandal that I've seen, and the price is right. In addition to supporting the arch, I need them to cushion the metatarsal and keep my feet from sliding forward each time I step, and these are making my feet more stable in the shoe. As to the complaints that the adhesive on the bottom doesn't stick, with the gel type if you're wearing sandals without stockings, the surface of the insert will stick to your feet so it effectively stays put, at least in these closed-heel but otherwise open strappy sandals. Good enough (I hope) for an 8 hour event.

Not for Women With Large Feet

Let me preface this with the comment that I typically, almost exclusively, use Dr. Scholl's inserts/insoles of other kinds in my shoes. I needed something to pad a set of sling-back heels, so I purchased these. This product would probably be great if you wear up to, I don't know, maybe a size 7? I wear a 10-11, depending on how the shoe fits. For those of us with "water skis", as my dad used to put it, the insert is not nearly long enough or wide enough to actually give any kind of proper support. I have found this with other brands as well. While I am, and was born, a woman, it seems I'm going to have to wait until some company out there makes clear insoles for heels for drag queens and/or us women with big feet. :-(

Doesnt like to stick

(DISCLAIMER: I ended up ripping the directions while opening the package, so there was potential for me to miss a step.) I bought these insoles to put inside a pair of high heel boots I intend to wear to a convention. The insoles feel comfortable, the gel is soft, and the supports are nice. However, the adhesive doesn't stick to the inside of my shoes, despite cleaning the inside with 70% alcohol, and letting it fully dry beforehand. Im hoping that they’ll stick better once I wear them, but I worry they’ll slip and slide around when I walk. If you don’t mind roughing up the inside of your heels, it might help the product adhere better. Aside from the sticking issue, they feel comfortable.

It came with an opened package

The package was open already. But it still had transparent first time use films on. So I gave them a go! They support my feet and they felt much better this time.

Solves one problem but causes another

I bought these to help cushion the bottoms of my feet for work. It does help with that but it also raises my feet up slightly which now puts pressure on the top of my feet, making my shoes feel snug. This gets worse as the day goes on and my feet swell. I’m not sure which is worse so I ended up buying new shoes

Rubbish!

The inner soles do not stick! I threw away the box so can’t send them back! Not happy. Waste of money.

Too big for women's size 6 heels

Bought these because they were advertised as suitable for women's sizes 6-10, but they were too large to fit properly in my size 6 pumps. This wasn't evident until they were out of their packaging, so they were impossible to return. Frustrating

These are terrible. Made my feet hurt even more. It’s kind of hard, not cushiony. Doesn’t stick in place either. Waste of my hard earned $30.
