I actually really like this?

I am not a fan of most Dove products, but I was told this stuff is legit. And I have to say, it is really good! It lathers nicely, it cleans well (gets my deodorant off easily), and smells great. The thing I like the most is it rinses off fairly well, it doesn't leave this coat of slime on you that feels slick. Many soaps/body washes do not easily rinse off, but this stuff does.

Trying to focus on the positives

Buying a bar of soap is a personal care product, no review can tell you if you will like it, you will be allergic to it, you won’t like the fragrance, etc, only buying it and trying it can do that. I have used Dove soap since my mom used to give me a bath when I was a tyke. In reality there’s not much different about it except for the unique shape and their claim about having cleansing cream. I thought all soaps were supposed to clean? But well it is true that this one doesn’t dry my skin so that is definitely a positive. THE UNIQUE SHAPE How the bar is shaped is actually high on my list of the reason I buy it and I think that may be true for a lot of people. It may not be easier to hold and the shape makes it want to pop out of your hand, but there is no doubt that it fits better in all of the various regions of the body and to me that is an absolute positive, bar soaps just aren’t the same in the shower. VALUE They stopped using terms like bath size or facial size on their soap and at first glance the size does look kind of small for the shower but the size isn’t the whole story - it seems each bar does last a little longer and the price for an eight pack is very reasonable. I bought it here because I could get that bulk pack for about the same price as two bars of it in my local market. YES NO MAYBE Since fragrance is a matter of personal opinion, I don’t care what other people think nor do I think my opinion is any more valuable. It’s actually a bit subtle, a guy won’t walk out of the shower smelling like a rose. That works for me.

Don’t run out ????

This soap is Dove, there’s nothing harsh about it. It’s not overpowering with a “man” smell. My daughters don’t mind using it. I recommend it fully.

Nice to have.

I was very frustrated with this company as the shipping was slow. I wrote to them and inquired where my order was and received a good explanation as to what was happening. I was surprised at the quick response I got and was impressed that it was written from the Owner, (I think) of the company. After reading the note, I understood and let the order come. It is nice to have this product as I am use to buying this for use in the States. It is something from home while Im living in the UK. Great service from this company and would order again. Thanks.
