Same great Dove we have loved for years, but..
We are longtime users of Dove products. This new Dove body wash concentrate took me a little getting use to. Not the product itself, but the concentrate part. For me, it was not flawless. Adding the concentrate and water should have been flawless. Instead, I had to make a hole in the first bottle of concentrate. So in that regard, I am disappointed my experience wasn’t flawless. I would be concerned an elderly user might not be able to open it. Once we get to the 2nd bottle of concentrate, I will update my review if I have a different experience. Same great product though!

Great sustainable replacement, same quality
I purchased this package to start my switch to a more sustainable solution. I have been using Doves moisture body wash for several years. I was worried it may not be the same texture or effect but it did not disappoint. If you're hesitant, go for it!

Expensive plus...
I thought the bottles were bigger when I bought it. They're about 18 oz. You put the soap in first, then the water. The indicator lines say I should put more water in, and it's overflowing. I almost recommended filling the water first, but that's not a fix as you have to physically attach the bottle to the refill to get it inside. And it's not exactly fast either. I am going to buy the refills so I can waste "less" plastic, but I am going to be watching out for the cost. Right now ar Walmart, you can get the 24-something bottle for around $6-$7, and this makes them about $8 each. The starter pack only comes with basic varieties too. I guess time will tell.

Good idea but a little too expensive
Yes, I get that by using this, we are reducing our plastic consumption. But shouldn’t Dove be trying to encourage the use of this product by lowering the prices of the refills instead of having us pay about 30% more compared to buying the big plastic bottles? Good concept, but I’m not too sure if the execution is ideal…

I love the concept
I use many Dove products and am happy with them. The only problem I have with this new body wash is the fragrance. I typically use the original pump foaming body wash. I like the sensitive skin fragrance, and the moisturizing one. If the chemists can go back to the lab and recreate those to the foaming wash scents I would be more inclined to use this new product.

Still deciding but think I will grow to love this
I ordered this because of all the bottles I threw away when everything ran out at the same time last month. So far I am happy with the body wash. It’s not the brand I have used for years. I gave it a try and so far very happy. I have sensitive skin and am happy with how this treats my skin. Still need to analyze cost etc but think this may become my go to body wash.

In theory, it's a good idea.....
In theory this is a good idea. In practical terms.....well this product is terrible. Over the years a great many other soap products have reduced their footprint by eliminating water ????, laundry soap is a good example. I really like other kinds of products that have done this, so I wrongly assumed that body wash be wonderful as well. Despite it being more expensive, I felt that the price would drop as it became more popular. But the product itself , the bodywash is terrible! It takes 2 or 3 times more soap (yes I only added the recommended amount of water) to get the same results as the regular body wash. This completely defeats the purpose of the product. Even when doubling or even tripling the amount of soap used, you will not get the creamy affect of the original soap. It may clean your body, but there is absolutely no luxury to this body wash. If you are one of those people who use the few minutes in the shower to escape and relax, then skip this product. As soon as I get a bottle of my old favorite, this is going into the trash. It's an expensive waste of time in my eyes. So no, I can't reccomend this. It's just not anything close to your favorite body wash. Skip this disaster. Y'all have a blessed day!

Love Doves reusable aluminum bottle.
Love the Dove reusable bottle. Even using the refill and adding water. Still leaves me moisturized. No dry skin. It is truly amazing.
