Wrong sizing?

This shirt says it's in child sizes. I ordered a small and my 5 year old is absolutely swimming in it. It fits like the women's extra small shirt that he wears to bed sometimes, and that's all he'll be able to use this shirt for. I've ordered Disney brand shirts for him before that fit perfectly so I don't think this shirt is labeled correctly. I will update if I wash it a few times and it shrinks but it would have to be a significant amount. Is it possible this is really in teen or women's sizes? I'm disappointed because I bought this for him to wear to school and it's enormous.
