Soft and pretty throw!

This is a very soft and pretty throw blanket. I love the color and it looks great in my family room. This washes well. This is the perfect blanket to curl up and read or watch TV with. It was less that $12 at the time I bought it! This would make a charming gift. One word of caution - when the blanket arrived it had a really strong chemical smell. It came right out when I washed it though, and it's been great.

I worried for nothing

In reference to the Marine Blue/Cream diamond print blanket. I was worried that this throw blanket would turn out to be heavy, rough and probably have to be returned. Let me tell you, all my worries were for nothing. When I pulled it out of the envelope, I wasn't sure they had sent me the right product. It felt so soft and smooth and is a comfortable light weight blanket. No, it isn't a fluffy, velour texture, but it does feel good against the skin. It's light enough to use year around to keep your body warm in the Winter and your feet warm in the Summer with the A/C going. The colors are a true Marine Blue and off-white or cream. I paired it with French Country blue and cream striped pillows and it looks great. I haven't washed it yet, but plan to do so on delicate cycle and will most likely hang it to dry because of the fringe. If that turns out to be a disaster, I will update my review. For now, I love this throw and would definitely recommend.

The Good & The Bad

It's not fuzzy-soft which is good for my dislike of fuzzy type of material. It makes me go ???? EEEK ???? inside. It's not "scratchy" like some reviews have said, but I suppose if you compare to the fuzzy-fluffy throws, it would be 'scratchy'. ???? But, I digress. The smell right out of the package is horrible. It's a chemical-type of smell. Be sure to wear your mask. It stinks. ????. I know you have one. Everyone does these days. So, if you have a dislike for chemicals, this would be a nightmare for you. I threw this throw into the wash as soon as I opened it. By itself. With double the laundry soap & pretty scent sprinkle stuff. It was late, I was ready for bed, I was tired, but getting that done is a must. Some say the blue bled into the white. Mine didn't, maybe I was a lucky one. If you decide to gift it, wash it first. Fold it nice & neat & place it in a cute bag. Overall, I like it. ???? I give it 3.5 stars. I just don't know how to make it fill half of the star. It's like, all or nothing, so, I rounded up to 4.

Blanket is cute the only thing it has a horrible smell

Blanket is cute it’s not that soft it is light weight. Maybe after i wash the blanket with softener would help. And maybe the bad smell will go away

It’s perfect. Exactly what I expected based on the product photos and description. Not quite navy blue in color, but close.. somewhere between royal blue and navy blue. It’s not soft, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. It’s comfortable enough to to use though. It washes well also. No little fibers getting everywhere.

Dye bleeeeeeeds even in cold water

So its seems to be well made and its soft and looks nice....but like all new textiles, i washed it immediately after receiving it, in cold water, and the blue colour bled and dyed the white threads. So now instead of a white and navy herringbone throw, i have a dark blue and light blue herringbone throw. This is disappointing considering i intentionally used the delicate cold water cycle. Im thinking the dye used is low quality and i fear it will continue to bleed everytime i wash it. Im now also worried the colour will transfer to my light grey couches so ive decided these will not be used for their intended purpose. Update: upon removal from the dryer ive notice that these blankets leave lint on everything. Like so much lint. Sigh. I would not buy these again. These are now my dogs blankets

Lovely

I bought this for a Secret Santa gift (hence the lack of pics, sorry!) and it ended up being claimed by my Mother in Law, who absolutely loves it. I actually loved this blanket so much when it arrived that I considered keeping it or buying a second one for myself. I still might buy it later as a summer throw for my sofa, but since my MIL has it, maybe I'll just visit it and think fondly of what might have been. Either way, I was thrilled with the quality of this blanket and it made a fantastic gift given the great price!

Huele feo

El diseño esta muy padre, de buen tamaño y esta a buen precio. Muy bonita hasta que abrí la bolsa donde venia; olía a rayos!!! a humedad!! La deje oreando durante un día y el olor no se fue, la tuve que lavar; se deslavo un poco el color y las barbitas de los extremos perdieron su forma :( Los comentarios decían que soltaba mucha pelusa, y es completamente cierto!! me recomendaron hecharle un poco de vinagre o bicarbonato cuando la lavara, y una vez que se secara que la refrigerarla dentro de una bolsa de plástico durante toda la noche. Estos consejos me sirvieron mucho, ya no apesta, y apenas suelta pelusa. No la devolví por que el diseño esta muy padre, ademas siendo algodón que es "made in india" pienso que hizo un viaje largo y que por eso el olor tan feo. Espero que cuiden su empaque para asegurar que llegue en optimas condiciones ;)

Buena compra

Me gustó el hecho de que se siente más grueso de lo que yo aprecié en las fotos de la publicación. Al recibirla noté que es más gruesa y la textura se siente bien. El precio se me hizo accesible y en cuanto a calidad diría que es buena. Le queda perfecto a mi sillón de dos plazas. El único detalle que noté es que suelta un poco de tipo pelusa, pero es casi imperceptible y supongo es natural. Espero que al lavarla no siga soltando o decolore.
