Great filter

We’ve been taking out plaster and lath walls at my house. And this sucks up all the dust with absolutely zero leaks!! That’s impressive , that dust is super fine , and this gets all of it. Do not beat this type of filter on the ground or with a rod. It has metal in it , and it will bend. Found that out the hard way. After you clean it like that , it won’t seal up . FYI

It fit my vaccum

Was looking for a replacement for my vacuum since I was doing some remodeling on our rental home. Couldn't find this at the local hardware store and like you can almost find anything on Amazon. I ordered two just to be safe and it fit just right and got the job done.

WARNING WILL NOT FIT DXV06PL

If you bought 6 gal dry/wet vac from Costco with part number DXV06pl, THIS WILL NOT FIT. This filter is twice the size of the original one. I was able to make it work but drilling a 1/4” hole at the bottom of the float cage and inserting a 1/4”x 2-1/2” carriage bolt just shy if 3/4” deep. After that, filter will lock in place as usual. Vacuum operates as normal with the slight mod
