Ugly, period.

I have bought and ordered many things over the years from Design Toscano. I used to live near one of their stores in IL, and every year would go to their huge warehouse sale in a nearby town. Their merchandise has always been unique and well made. I haven’t ordered much anything from them, particularly not something like this, in the years since I moved. Alas, they have apparently resorted, like far too many other U.S. companies, to having their merchandise made in China. I don’t know how else to say it, but it looks just plain cheap. The turtle shells are a reddish hue, their heads a funny green, and the frog far too bright green. Not at all realistic. Really looks like something I would pick up in a bargain store (at a much cheaper price). It looks nothing like the picture here. I am *very* disappointed. I thought the picture of it was really cute. I live in FL now, so would be very appropriate. It was going in my sunroom. But now it’s going back to where it came from. ????

This is perfect for your garden I bought 2 to put in a display with my flowers and they are lovely. I have sent for another 2 because they look so good, and turtles are very lucky to have in your home and garden. Buy these you'll just love them.

I REALLY LIKE THE PROPORTIONS/SHAPE & SIZE OF THESE GUYS!!! (11-INCHES WIDE X 9-INCHES HEIGHT X 8-INCHES DEEP). DETAILS ARE MAGNIFICENT! I AM A BIG DESIGN TOSCANO ADVOCATE! (USUALLY), BUT LATELY IN THE LAST YEAR SEVERAL OF THEIR PRODUCTS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED HAVE MISSED THE MARK! IT USUALLY HAS TO DO WITH THE FINISH! AS WITH THIS PIECE THE TURTLES SHELLS ARE QUITE PURPLISH! NOT THE REDISH/BROWN AS IN THE PICTURES! THEY ALSO SAY IN THE LISTING IT IS 3-LBS. WELL IT IS-NOT! IT’S APPROX 2 1/2LBS! I DO HOWEVER LIKE THIS PIECE, AS I HAVE A CARVED OLD MAN TREE-STUMP SMALL TABLE, & IT LOOKS GREAT SITTING ON IT!!! AMAZON.CA IS WORKING WITH ME TO MAKE IT RIGHT! This statue is super cute in my garden. The colors are exactly as shown and statue is extremely lifelike. Design Toscano has the best products on the market barr none! Would highly recommend this statue to give your garden or yard a little character.

Simpatica piramide

Davvero molto carina, peccato che il colore dei gusci delle tartarughe non sia bello acceso come invece speravo. Metterò questa simpatica piramide nella mia aiuola e sono sicura che stupirà tutti????. Ottima idea regalo per gli amanti delle tartarughe. Imballo impeccabile!
