Worth the Money

I have a scar near the outer corner of one eye. Regular coverup doesn’t really cover it. I was skeptical over the price, but a lady on TikTok posted about the Dermablend Coverup and it had some pretty decent reviews. So, I splurged and bought it. It takes some getting used to. The container seems small but it does not take much!! It comes with a tiny spatula to spread on the cover up. I actually really treated myself to the Dermablend primer, too! The combination works very well! It covered up my scar pretty well and stays on all day!

First of all, it’s super thick…like putty, but if you use the little spatula that comes with it to scoop just a tiny amount onto the back of your hand and apply it from there (Beauty blender, fingers or brush) it melts into/onto the skin and gives phenomenal coverage. That aside, for me it just doesn’t last more than a couple of hours, so I’ve been experimenting with different primers and setting sprays …after all it’s summertime in the south ???? so I’m hoping for better longevity once fall rolls around. It’s a bit to thick for me to get great results using a foundation brush ????????‍♀️…I get the best, most even coverage using my fingers. It on,y takes a small amount- this container will probably last me at least a year and a half. Also worth mentioning- it doesn’t do much in the way of correcting/covering skin texture…I have some indented type scars from acne as a teenager and this does nothing for that ????????‍♀️.

Good product

I can't say if it's moisturizing, but it doesn't dry me out. And I dont know if it gives sun protection. Thats why I gave them both 3 stars. It's been too cold to lay out in the sun. It does spread extremely easily. But you have to add a nice thick layer if you want good coverage. It does come off over time though. I use the dermablend setting powder and urban decay setting spray and even with the double make up setting products it still comes off too quickly. So it does require reapplying, which is a pain as this product is suppose to hide unflattering spots on our face so I think they need to work on the staying power of the product. But it is the best product I've tried for covering up unsightly spots. You have to practice and work with it. I scrape the product out with the scraper they provide and put it on my fingers and rub my fingers together to make it smooth and creamy then I apply it. I then take a small concealer brush to blend it out. I dont use it on my full face. I use it for certain spots then I use my Tarte foundation for the rest of my face. I use a big foundation brush for that and use the brush to blend it in with the dermablend. A little product goes a long way. I have very oily skin and it does not separate or run. It doesn't feel heavy or look cakey either. I would recommend it. Its the best product I've been able to find that really hides imperfections well but its not a miracle worker either. I've been using this for 2 months I think its been now. I still have tons of product left. I use it daily and it's still filled near the top. I'm a woman age 38 no wrinkles, a few fine lines. It can crease in the fine lines if you don't blend well.

Coverage is amazing. Just one tip I would give if you have dry skin.. MAKE SURE TO MOISTURISE! The formula is not drying at all, however, if you don't moisturise well, and use a good moisturising primer (leave to settle on skin first) this product WILL stick to dry spots. I also recommend using a good setting spray for a natural finish so you don't look over matted after setting it with powder. Taking all those things into account, my skin looks flawless.

Better than off the shelf makeup for scars

It’s probably better for smooth tattooed skin. Scars are a different issue and it’s not as camouflage as is have liked.

A fantastic cover creme. I would not go anywhere without using this product as I feel naked without it!

I have been using this product for many years and it gives a wonderful coverage and last for hours even went swimming on holiday and it was still intact. It is the only cover creme I use and would thoroughly recommend it for concealing dark spots and age spots etc. I get comments all the time on how lovely my skin looks and it is thanks to Dermablend. A great [product.

Amazing

Amazing! I was having trouble finding a product that would do what i needed and ive found 1! Such a good product! I use it to cover my tattoo on my foot and its great! Worth 5 stars but i only gave it 4 due to only having a range of 2 skin tones so i have to mix them to get my colour, would DEFO recommend and buy again!
