Great design, but looks a little cheap

Even today plumbers will tell you to stick with Delta for quality, and that what I still try to do. When remodeling 2 bathrooms I used the Delta Trinsic line for everything, and while I'm happy overall this particular trim didn't end up looking a nice as I had hoped. I don't mind so much the use of plastic if it looks good and lasts long, but the back plate on this trim does not have that smooth mirrored chrome finish you'd expect and looks kind of cheap when you look closely at a reflection. Still four stars because it's great in other ways, like the design of having the valve in diverter in one unit, but next time I'm going to look around a bit more before I choose.

Beautiful and feels expensive

Works great for our double shower head shower (regular head and rain head). I love that I can set the temperature once, and every time I use it after that, it goes back to the same temp!

Very Good Diverter Valve Assembly Unit

This Delta diverter valve assembly was purchased to replace one that was leaking and had been discontinued by a different manufacturer. This was purchased together with the Delta Faucet R22000 Multichoice Universal with Integrated Diverter Rough and a Delta Faucet RP71718 3-Function Non-Shared Diverter Cartridge. I'm a DIYer not a plumber so the assembly took some time but the instructions that came with this valve were excellent. By following the instructions step by step it went together very well. With a few minor modifications to my shower unit this valve fit well and works and looks even better than the original that came preinstalled with the shower. I'm very happy with this Delta diverter valve assembly and would recommend it to anyone looking to replace on old one.

Too many plastic parts

Generally solid, but some of the handles are plastic. Finish looks nice. Valve cartridges operate smoothly and are easy to assemble and replace if needed.

Missing parts

I ordered 3 sets all 3 are missing the same parts which makes the shower trims useless.

Looks dirty due to water spots showing

The valve works great but looks dirty due to water spots showing badly. Expensive for shut a lousy finish. We have very soft water have never had this issue with any other fixture brand.

Its Delta

Great product and good warranty. Overall product appears to be well made and the bronze plating matched our other Delta faucets.
