Missing Parts

The shower/tub faucet is beautiful, but the shower handle was missing a set screw to hold it into place. The contractor contacted Delta to request one, but it is frustrating to wait on something that should have been included in the kit. Not sure of the functionality because I can't use it yet.

This faucet is great I bought it due to the quality elegance and the price and boy it was well worth the purchase. I’m happy and so are the residence went by again with out a heart beat.

Quality faucet at reasonable price,

Good looking tub/ shower faucet set. Price was reasonable. It was available and easy to get. Other stores would have made us wait fir several weeks.

Exterior finish is plastic but high quality parts and good for kids.

I had a tub spout which would no longer seal off to run the shower so got this kit to make sure I had everything I needed to get it right. Unfortunately, the fiberglass tub made correctly replacing the whole kit almost impossible. To replace the main shower valve, it would require cutting a larger hole around where the handle comes out and because that wasn't the problem, I left it in place. I did manage to utilize the spout though. Included in the kit is a friction lock adapter for the existing copper pipe. Once the lock screw is tightened, threading on the spout until it is snug is simple Although it is mostly plastic, it has a fery nice feel to the finish and feels very hard. The spout is even diverted inside to make a cool cylinder of water when running. Also, my 2 year old slipped and fell face first into it which if the metal faucet was still in place, she would have ended up with stitches. The showered head was also easy to install as I only had to unscrew the existing one and screw on the new one. I have gone through a couple and though also mostly plastic, it has a high end shape and feel to it, and gives most of the options you would expect from a multi mode showerhead. It also has a unique clickable button to select your mode or turn the water off. Overall, it is a good kit with anything you could need for a remodel, or repair to a tub/shower combo. It's a little over priced considering most of the exterior/visible parts are plastic. Also be aware that replacing the shower valve and handle is going to require extensive work and patching after.

Plastic pieces at this price and brand name?

I feel like it’s important to first mention that this trim kit has a lifetime warranty. The reason I start with that is, by looking at some of the parts, my first thought was ‘thank goodness’. There are plastic parts included in the kit. It’s extremely lightweight and not exactly what I was expecting from Delta. Not to mention the price tag that is very steep. So, for me, I was very glad to see that it comes with a lifetime warranty. Once installed, the trim kit gives a nice crisp look. I used it in a bathroom that I actually have an oil rubbed bronze sink faucet. But since the bronze is so dark on my sink faucet I decided to go with black versus a bronze. I think it looks good together but the shower is rarely “open” so they aren’t both visible at the same time anyway. I think a lower price tag would be reasonable given that so much is plastic and even the metal is lightweight. It really feels like your paying more for the name versus the quality. But with a lifetime warranty, I feel encouraged.

Delta quality, lifetime warranty, beautiful matte-black finish

The matte black finish available in the Esato line is just gorgeous, a nice change from chrome, stainless, and brushed-nickel finishes that have been predominant for years. The finish is smooth and satiny and looks great. The product literature implies that calcium buildup can be simply wiped away--something I'm looking forward to confirming. I don't expect to see rust given that there isn't visible, exposed metal. I can't speak to installation ease from first-hand experience, as I use a plumber for installations of this level of difficulty. My plumber tells me that these Delta kits are as easy to install as any. Everything works well and looks great. Delta fixtures have a limited lifetime warranty--this set it a winner!

I am in love with Esato and have the sink faucet as well! Beautiful!

I am in love with the Delta series Esato bathroom faucets! Premium in weight and quality but the look gives me something that is not too rigid and strict but is charming and appealing. It has a cabin farmhouse appeal but can also be a Tuscany, French provincial, type decor as well. I have a farmhouse and love this on my new RTA aspen white cabinetry sink and in the shower & tub. Substantial in looks and gets noticed not just another matte black faucet. Very pleased when I opened the box, I knew this was it!
