The Right Tools

It making jewelry is so much more fun and satisfying when you have the right tools. I have a tremor which makes it difficult to perform fine motor skills. Prior to purchasing this tool, I struggled and used up a lot of time just to crimp one piece. Now I can hold the piece in the crimper, making it 100% easier to hold and crimp the small ends of jewelry pieces. I would recommend this to everyone.

Pretty handy if you use a lot of crimp beads

Do you really need a crimp tool? No, you do not. You can totally fake it with regular pliers. Do you WANT a crimp tool? You do. You really, really do. Instead of fiddling with the pliers for five minutes (and destroying a few crimp beads in the process), you just close the crimp bead in five seconds. This is a perfectly acceptable pair of pliers to get that job done. I have no complaints. They work. If you are not using crimp beads, of course, these would be absolutely pointless. They are unitaskers. They just do the one thing. If you don't know what crimp beads ARE, you probably want a different kind of pliers entirely.

Just So So

I have been making jewelry for over 8 years now. My first crimping tool lasted until just a few months ago. This one is no where near as good. It does not always spring back open. I have to manually open it back up.

Not worth it even at a cheap price.

A piece of junk! Threw it in the trash arrived and within one use the wire sprung and is useless! Don't buy it spend a bit more and get a quality crimper
