Pretty, but shades don't sit squarely

Very pretty, but not as high quality as I would expect for the price. The shades don't sit exactly squarely in the lamp, so they can look a little tilted from some angles. The shades are very nice when illuminated, and the lamp base is plenty heavy so that it doesn't seem likely to fall over.

Look great

There was a problem initially as the product add said these lamps were dimmable. After ordering a review popped up and the buyer said it was not. I sent out a question and was impressed with the response by folks. Thank you by the way. In the end they look great and while not dimmable we are keeping them. They would be perfect if dimmable.

Low quality craftsmanship and materials, wobbly

This is a pretty shade and the height is excellent as is the length of the cord. Sadly, that's the where the good things end. The quality here bears zero relationship to the price point. The base has a square cover where you screw the pole in when you assemble the lamp. That square piece is not permanently attached, so it moves around as the pole is screwed in, this in turn scratches the paint on the base. Next, once assembled and before the bulb is in place, you put the pretty glass piece on top. The problem is that there is no way to secure it. It balances with the bulb in the center, but the shade is free to wobble and vibrate at the lightest bump - that is just asking for an accident. The pole feels very cheap and the entire thing looks cheap up close. The packaging is low end and rough as well, meaning the odds of getting a broken shade are pretty high. I'll keep shopping for a higher quality unit because this thing is absolutely not good enough for my public rooms.

Dissappointed

The product description says it is dimmable. That is why I bought it. I found it was not. It is on/off only. Additionally the shade did not fit well into the holder and the poll is not straight. I didn't return it because I didn't want to hassle with packing and shipping.
