Cute but not ruffly

So..I'm kinda pretty disappointed here. Whoever designed these or made the sewing instructions for them clearly doesnt understand how to make full ruffles and much extra you need to a really have REAL ruffles on stretch fabrics. Cause this is NOT ruffly like the pictures. This is the first review I have had to give with this low of stars. I read all the reviews before I purchased. Most said order up a size or 2 so I ordered the biggest size they had cause as a seamstress I could just alter them smaller if needed. The fit just for find a little snug but I'm sure will loosen up over some wear. As you can see even laying flat they do not have much of a ruffle to them either so when i put them on they had no ruffle really at all. They are surprisingly pretty comfy as well as a thick food quality fabric not thin like most others I have bought. They fit a little odd. Had to pull them up to get a any kinda cheeky look. I got these for a quick simply bodouir style cosplay for a shoot and they will server their purpose but I will have to find more lace to add more ruffles. Had anyone left pictures in their reviews before I bought them I would have just made a pair myself. Having to add more of my own real ruffles kinda defeats the purpose of buying a product already made to have this cute look.

Size up, and then size up again!

Woah are they tight. I wear a 16/18 and a 3X felt like a large ????

Beautiful but slightly too small

I ordered according to recommended sizes but they’re just a little tight. Not uncomfortable but the lace lies flat due to being tight. Super cute either way and they looked pretty good in some of my photos. I think I would need a bigger size for a better fit.

Cute but runs small

These are cute but run a little small. I'm normally a 3X and ordered a 4X based on other reviews. They fit but they are still pretty tight so I would recommend going at least 2 sizes up.
