Windbreaker for activity.
This is a windbreaker. It will not keep you warm. Found that out riding my low-carbon-footprint scooter home from work a couple nights ago! This is a windbreaker for people jogging, cross-training, biking or any other exercise where the body creates excess heat. What this does is the traditional job of the windbreaker - to keep the wind from stealing warmth away from the body. That it does well. The jacket is made of a water-resistant polyester with a panel up the sides of the jacket and underside the arms to allow excess moisture to vent and evaporate. The material is first-class, the zippers are excellent and heavy-duty, and the pockets are good with good seams. It will zip up all the way to have a high-collar. The sizing is good. I wear an XL and it's just a tiny bit snug in the middle though this is because I have a little extra in the middle! This is a good windbreaker for your outdoor workout.

Nice Looking and Well-Made but There are Some Issues
There are a number of things I like about this jacket. The stitching, zippers, and small claps on these zippers are well made. The symmetrical design and primary colors are attractive. It's a light-weight jacket great for Spring or Fall, and water-resistant; outer and inside pockets are spacious. My major reservation concerning it is sizing – it fits rather too large. I wear an XL in outer wear, which is why I ordered this one. As it turned out, this particular jacket ran rather large in the torso, producing something of a billowing look in the back. The sleeves and shoulders fit fine but I really didn't like the excess material in the mid-section of the garment. I imagine that some potential buyers who prefer, or need, lots or room around the mid-section might be ok with this. I, however, like a more tapered fit. Potential purchasers might consider going down a size in this garment depending on what type of fit and look they're aiming for.

Great outer shell (use with layers)
This is not a "warm" jacket. This is a windbreaker / water-activity jacket. I wanted to test this out as I like rowing, and the weather is getting cold, with fall starting (tomorrow). Cold *and* wet (sea spray): "yaay?" Well, that is what this jacket is made for, but also for days where it is not too cold. You can tell as the underarms and side panels have been custom-designed with breathable fabric (like Underarmour). This is an "activity jacket," meaning that it is made for "work" in mild to cool climates. If it is not parka weather and you are active, this jacket is a great alternative to traditional models that make your underarms and sides hot, while the rest of your core is trying ti stay warm. If you are sedentary (just going out and sitting around), this is probably not the jacket you would like. But if you are moving around, or going to an outdoor sporting event, this is a "stylish casual" outer layer that you can wear anywhere and look either cool or at least well-to-do, depending on your personal style and taste. The colors are okay, the jacket ha no strange chemical smell, and the fabric is robust and soft enough, considering that the point of this thing is to block wind and light mist or rain. Another reviewer commented that it is too large at the waist. I DISAGREE. You will almost always wear this with a sweatshirt, seater, or some kind of insulating layer: base layer, warmth, and then protection from the elements (three layers). You can wear this as a standalone, but it is not "form fitting" (lycra). The stitching and zippers are all well-crafted, and the look is mildly conservative, so you can get away with wearing this practically anywhere but a hippy fest.

Great light jacket for spring or fall.
Perfect jacket for spring or fall I wore it this fall with a mix of breezy rainy weather. It's not thick like a coat but does stop the wind and repels water. It's very well made seems like top quality materials and workmanship. My only con is the sleeves are a little snug in the forearms but not bad I like the jacket and love the Navy blue.

Very comfy jacket
I would probably go with a size up but it is a very comfy jacket. Nice material and color scheme.

Impressive item
I'm new to the Cutter and Buck brand with this softshel and another light stealth jacket, I can see why this would be geared for golfers: High freedom of movement, subtle athletic design and very high quality finishes. This is also surprisingly warming and I found it pretty good at water protection. I didn't really sweat in it so I don't know about moisture wicking but I'm guessing it's going to be good. The liberty navy color is pretty standard, no big thrill there. I have a muscular build and the XL's fit is perfect. My favorite thing about this shell is the quality of the finishes, seams and little details (added some closeups). I recommend it to anyone who likes this design. As for this navy color - it's a solid conservative choice.

Good looking and lightweight
This lightweight jacket is perfect for me. The gray panels give this a sporty look, so it's great for outdoor activities, as well things like attending a ball game. The fabric has a little give, which is always appreciated. it also retains body heat very well, so it keeps you much warmer than you'd expect. Instructions say to machine wash, which I do in cold water and then line dry. This jacket will definitely see a lot of use now that it's fall and on into winter too.
