Gentle cleanser for sensitive skins

This cleanser is fine for sensitive skins, I wish it had more of a foam to it, but it really cleanses the face very well.

The BEST

This formula is next level. It’s one of my favorite cleansers that I’ve ever tried. I use it as a second cleanse after my MediK8 Lipid Replenishing Cleansing Oil. It’s absolutely beautiful and NOT your typical gel cleanser texture. It’s much softer and melts like a cream into the skin. I find most gel cleansers to be slightly (or extremely, in some cases) drying but not this. The Curel Gel Cleanser, Deep Moisturizer Spray, and Moisturize Milk are incredible formulas that rival the “medical grade” skincare that I typically use. They are staples in my routine. I’ve tried every product in the Curel Intensive Moisture line and the three mentioned above are my favorites for my normal (sometimes dry/dehydrated in the NY winter months), 45 year-old skin. I use Tretinoin and MediK8 for my actives; Curel for hydration and moisture.

Doesn’t dry my skin

Doesn’t dry out my skin. I’ve found I still have to use another product to remove waterproof mascara, so that’s why four stars, not five. A solid product, though.

safe for sensitive skin

My friend introduced this to me for makeup remover. I absolutely love it. It removes most of my makeup and it only takes me a couple more times to remove my eye makeup; which is the most stubborn makeup to remove. It doesn't irritate my skin or eyes. I still use my face wash afterwards to clean my face more. If you're looking for an easy makeup remover that doesn't leave your skin oily or dry; try this!

I have brought this makeup remover gel for a couple times. I have a dry and sensitive skin which makes it much harder for me to buy ideal makeup removers. But all Curel products work perfect on me! Highly recommend!!

Cannot be used to remove eye makeup

This product is supposed to be the first step in the two step cleansing routine. It clearly states on the tube that it should not be used near the eyes. I didn't read the label at first. I noticed my eyes seemed irritated, vision blurry and figured out it was from this product. Rinsed my eyes out and all OK. I've gone back to LaRoche-Posay Toleriane cleanser which is gentle and does remove eye makeup.

Great make up remover but keep couple things in mind:

Japanese usually divide their make up into point make up (mascara, eyeshadows, lipstick) and base make up (foundation, primer). Normally a make up remover for stubborn point make up like waterproof mascara is a separate category, followed by something like this gel to remove your sunscreen, primer and foundation. After all your make up is removed, you would use a cleansing foam to thoroughly cleanse your face and prep it for moisturizing. So, if you wear strong make up like waterproof mascara, smudge - proof lipstick and skin-clinging eyeshadows, I would advise to use a specially designed eye and lip make up remover, like elemis white flowers first. Then this gel will remove your foundation, concealer etc quite easily. I follow it with a good soap foam made with the foaming net. Or, alternatively you can try Curel's ready made foam, but it didn't work for me - it stings my skin. Gentle foam following this gel cleanser makes sure my skin is not stripped of it's vital protective barrier. All in all it is a reliable base make-up remover and a good value for money.

Never dry out your skin but very clean

Been using this makeup remover gel for a long time. Always a big fans. Basically you don’t need any cotton pad, just message the gel directly on the face for 1 or 2 mins, then rinse it with water, done! It’s not oily or dry, my skin feel so clean and moist. One thing is it may not strong enough for waterproof mascara or heavy makeup. But for me, removing causal thin makeup or sunscreen is perfect! Highly recommended

The product has good features, but not feeling my face cleaned well with it...

It is gel texture, so after washing you face with it, it sill feels not 100% clean...However the ingredients from this product are famous for being healthy and good, so if you only want something to remove light makeups, it's fine to use this one. If you applied heavy makeups, better to use other oil based makeup removal products.

Best makeup remover I've used

There is nothing to dislike about this and any other Curel products. I'm not kidding but my skin was instantly rejuvenated when I started using Curel. Highly recommend their products
