Air Filters help cut down the dust.

I live in a rural farming area with dirt roads by us. The dust is something that we battle. After I started to use these air filters I cut down on how often I dust in half. I still feel like we get almost the same air flow than the less expensive types and brands.

Easy to install, work very well…

These seem to be made very well, they definitely catch a ton of dust/dander/dirt, etc, but one thing that I was told by a HVAC tech is that these do and amazing job but they do restrict airflow a bit and the ac units aren’t made to be used with restricted airflow filters. With that being said, I love these and I’ve been using ones just like this since we got the unit and it’s been great. I do have to change them faster than a month because I’ve got cats/dog and allergies but you can probably get more life out of them if you vacuum them off and put them back in (might not be recommended, however). Pros: Made well Easy to install/fits well Filters well Cons: Might restrict airflow a little but works fine for me

Measurement are off

This says that it is a 21x21x1. It is smaller than my 21x20x1 that I had in there. Really disappointing

This is a review of the "Crisp Filters, 16x25x1 Air Filter, MERV 11, MPR 1000, AC Furnace Air Filter, 4-Pack" My 2 furnaces are both setup to take 16x25x4 filters, but my HVAC guy has told me on a number of occasions that since it also has a notch that allows it to take 1 inch filters, to just use those because it's going to save me money and extend the life of my units by not having them struggle as much for airflow. Ever since he told me that, I've been using the cheapest 1'' filters at my local big box stores but found that my whole house kept getting dustier than it normally would. So I was looking for something that filtered out as much as the 4 inch filters but with less restriction and less cost than the 4-inchers. Thats where these came in! At only about $7.70/filter, this is cheaper than the filters I was buying before this and these are actually a much better quality than those too! I change these monthly (we have two cats and a guinea pig, so there is a ton of hair and dander floating around her;, I'm not comfortable letting them go the advertised 3 months because when I pull them out to check them, you can see how much stuff is on there after a month!). These seem to be well made, sturdy and I have already gone through one month of using it and it was all grey and nasty after that first month, so it's for sure working as expected! Would for sure continue buying these in the future! I also bought a 6 pack and that came out to less money per filter (closer to $6/filter) so I'd say but the 6 pack instead, but the filters were the same for both the 4 and 6 packs I bought.

Low Quality

These filters are just as sturdy as a name brand filter from a big box store

We've used these filters several times now and I don't really see much of a difference between these and a big box name brand. The filters seems sturdy and they fit my air conditioner just as well as a name brand.

Great replacment filters

My cottage has a hot air furnace that is located in an unfinished basement that tends to get pretty dusty necessitating changing the filters twice a year. There are quite a few styles of these filters on the market varying in price and filtration capability. Being new to forced hot air furnaces I initally decided to go the cheap route and by the least expensive figuring that these were probably not very useful and just a waste of time. This was a mistake however as I noticed after a few months that I was suddenly getting a lot of dust on my walls and ceilings so I switched to a finer but much more expensive filter. These filters mimic those but at a better price. They fit well and do a good job of collecting dust that would otherwise be blown up from the basement into the living area.

Great price for the MERV rating

For a three pack of MERV11 filters these are great price. The other box seems sturdy. The baffling is substantial. I'm always torn when it comes to filters. For me it's a balance of allergies versus efficiency. The thinner the filter the less work your A/C has to do pulling in air on the intake so your system runs more powerfully, but more allergens make it into your system and back out through the vents. This tends to only be a problem to combat if you live someplace really hot (I do) and need to take power into consideration. However, if you live somewhere other than a desert, then these are the filters for you if you have allergies or want to reduce dust and pet dander in the air.
