This tape measure has purpose

It's about the hook. Like: The hook does not slide in off while making long measurements. Dislike: The grab hook does however bind and gets stuck in tight space measurements. Conclusion: The tape measure is well built and good for the long haul. It works well for general measuring tasks but not so much in tight places.

How have I lived without this product?

Trust me... you will never buy another tape measure (and btw... I loose a lot of them / buy a lot of them every year). This has great functionality and is well made, durable and looks great. Multiple people at my job site have gone onto purchase after seeing mine.

Great tape but…

I really like all of the features and functions of this tape measure. I prefer a stiff tape and this one is pretty flimsy.

Robust and easy to read

All I really want from a tape measure is that it be accurate, easy to read and robust. This measure is by far the easiest to read I have used and the "roll bars" on the front should help keep the end of the tape from being damaged. Definitely a better than average tape measure.

Tape split after two uses

This tape checked all the boxes for me - easy to read, good unsupported length, wide catch for solo measuring, so I really wanted to like it. Within two days of use, without being dropped or stood on, the tape edge cracked in two separate places between 7 and 9 inches in. Those cracks quickly crept in and we all know the result; cut fingers and a tape that will catch on the housing and eventually split. I'd like to give them another chance but I was on the job and near a HD, so I had to go and buy another tape to complete the job.

Unfortunately Disappointed

I’ve been looking for the best tape measure for a while and I’ve invested decent money trying them out to find the best. Project Farm rated this high and I wanted to love it Pros: slim and easy to read Cons: not great standout in my experience, flimsy blade that keeps wrinkles in the metal, will not fully close on its own I am an electrician and I’ve had it for over a month. I still use it on certain tasks but there is nothing more frustrating than being in a ceiling, trying to get a 10 ft measurement from an adjacent wall and an inch away, the blade collapsing and folding in half. I’m still going to keep searching for the best tape.

First foot permanently bent

After a few uses, i guess i let it retract too quickly and it got a kink/bend in the first foot that caused it to turn over after pulled out a few feet rendering it useless. I love the markings and the feel so i went another one and it’s great. Just be careful when retracting
