Perfect

Comfortable, goes well on small trails or going out in town, and a great price.

Great sneakers, but will make you get divorced

These sneakers are great. They grip well, they breath okay. But they will destroy your life and everything you love. The scene is simple. You're home from work. You pick up some toys in the yard and move them to the deck. You toss a couple dead branches back into the woods. You walk inside your happy home and use the bathroom. You exit the bathroom into a much different home. Your Columbia sneakers have given you great grip and traction at the expense of packing with mud. Even though they were dry, you unknowingly left a small trail of 1/4" x 1/2" blocks of mud all over the house. It's the perfect mixture. Too wet to have fallen off outside, but too dry to pick up in a chunk and throw away. Your blood pressure rises as you realize what's about to happen. You start getting into arguments about taking shoes off in your own house. Then you'll strike back with a comment about 'someone' leaving messes on the bathroom sink. From there, the die is almost cast, but you still have hope. Everything is spiraling and you can't decide if you should hit the brakes or the gas. You might decide that this can be salvaged, and you'd just have to say "Sorry". Maybe 45 seconds with the vacuum. But then the fight would morph, about how you only vacuumed the dirt, and not the rest of the floor, and how now she has to vacuum anyway. That would lead to a tirade about unfinished projects, tools left out, that piece of corner trim that you could fix in 6 minutes but you keep forgetting to buy the right sized nails... But on the other hand, you could lean into the punch. You could let it all go. You could pop the cork. You could throw out a B word, or maybe even a C word. Just drop it there like a grenade and walk away. Years from now, as you sign another alimony check while sleeping in a rusted-out panel van, you'll wonder how your only decent possession is still these Columbia sneakers. And your van will be filled with 1/4" x 1/2" blocks of mud...

Good shoe for the price

I bought these without ever having tried on a pair. I would say they are a little narrow. Otherwise, the fit is pretty much spot on. I only wear these as normal shoes--no hiking or running. Price matches quality.

Bought these to backpack through Europe and they nailed it.

I bought these the day before a 5-week backpack through Eastern Europe trip and I am glad I did. Countless miles walked on uneven cobblestones, oily roadways, stone stairways, and up and down mountain trails. Trekking over all sorts of terrain, these held up great. The soles are grippy and outperformed my expectations. They are not as breathable as mesh but I was glad they were not mesh as they kept my feet dry near puddles. The only wear that developed (minor) is on the top near the laces in one spot. I was skeptical but they have proved their worth. At home, I live in the forest and hike 1-4 miles daily with my dog-these will be my new go-to shoes. Also, the design was neutral enough to fit in at a variety of settings (mine were all black) so-as I didn't feel like I had some absurd crayon box of a sneaker on at restaurants.

Good stuff

True to size, comfy, seem to be durable (although time will tell). They’re great work shoes, I’m a plumber and am always on my feet. Also good for hiking/ trails.

the perfect shoe until it split!

I walk dogs for a livng and my Adidas Terrex had finally died on me after a year of solid use. After much research and online looking, I decided on the Colombia Flow. I oredered them and was extremely pleased when they arrived. l wore them for 2-3 hours a day walking the dogs. Everything was fine until 5 wekks later on one rainy day, l could feel my feet getting wet. l looked and on both shoes, they had split across the front at the sides where the upper meets the sole. Went home and cleaned them and saw the cracks and split. l was gutted as they were so expensive and l liked them! Otherwise it was the perfect shoe for my needs, lightweight, comfortable and l liked the styling and colourway. Super sad l had to return them. Hope l get my £25 back on top as that what it cost to send them back to Amazon USA.

The inside heel wore out before the sole. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Can't understand these...its as if they expect your feet to be like hourglasses...really skinny in middle, so instep/arch hangs completely off the sole. Returning sadly...because They do look awesome
