Amazing

The were able to withstand high winds, a shelter in place where people were elbow to elbow, & HEAVY rain at the T. Swift eras tour. Clothes stayed dry and the hood was big enough to fully cover our faces.

Great in a pinch

Put a few of these in my ruck on a 2 day kayak/camping river trip. Well it poured the 2nd day. I never wear rain gear since the Army but had them for my wife and daughter. The rain got so intense I was like well I'm gonna try these out. Other then my feet...I was bone dry loading all our gear on the yaks to leave. I'm not a fan of ponchos but these were awesome and cheap. I bought 4 more to keep in my IFAK, my truck, and my wife's vehicle. I think they would be strong enough for a litter to carry an injured person and also could be cut for a make shift shelter. They dont have grommets like a GI poncho but if there isnt to much tension you could use them as a rain fly or water catch. In a pinch there great. Compared to a standard poncho which is more to carry you can't beat it in an emergency.

Ordered 8 - All of them were clear

I like this product for several reasons: 1) Ponchos that come in such a small package are usually disposable. Since this one was labeled reusable, I thought better for the environment. I opened it to check the material. I stretched a small portion. Of course doing so damaged it, but that's the point. I want to make sure it won't break in a real emergency. It seems durable enough. 2) Polyethylene - Many other ponchos are made of PVC, which emits a toxic smell. You can at least recycle polyethylene. 3) Fits well - The neck hole seemed small to me, but I thought it was better that way so that the user can stretch it to his/her head size. The disappointing part is that I received only clear ponchos. I would have preferred highly visible colors such as yellow. But at the same time, perhaps the clear one was better. The package contains a warning, "This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." Since I don't smell anything unusual about the poncho, I believe the colored ponchos might be the reason for the warning. I.e., as we know, a lot of made in China products contain lead paint. I saw other colored ponchos that were labeled as containing lead. I bought the Coghlans because I trust the brand & because I couldn't find any warnings online about lead.

Cheap & it works.

I mean, it's a .99 cent plastic poncho. If you're looking for multi use durability, this isn't your investment. lol We bought 3 for an 8 day disney world trip. Keep the plastic baggie to ram it back into for your day pack and then toss at the end of your trip. Saved our butts on a few rides and rain storms. I will get a few more to put in our day hike bags "just in case". Lighter than a full rain coat. Easily packable.

Cost effective protection from water rides

Bought a couple of these for Disney World trip - it kept us dry at the park with when we water rides. We tossed it out after using it for 2 days as it was impossible to fold back up into the mini zip up plastic bag it came in. For the price, it is definitely cheaper than buying the amusement park branded rain ponchos, and no concerns tossing it out after we were done with them.

Es un producto muy sencillo. De calidad Mediana. Lo traigo en el coche y me ha servido cuando se llega a descomponer el coche en tiempo de lluvias. Por su color plateado metálico es fácil de ubicar con reflejos de luces.
