Good shoe with a major flaw

Very good pair of shoes but with a major flaw. they put a separate part on the base of the heels outside. it comes off. i did a replacement thinking it just that piece but the replacement has the same issue. even with light use the sole is coming off and has also developed a crack. Had clarks not put this design part this shoe is very comfortable and looks good too.
