Lightweight, classy and cheap

Has a classic look, beige trim blends well with anything. Case being made of plastic, watch is very light on the wrist. Stainless steel bracelet also adjusts well to fit my small 5.5" wrist, just use a flat head screwdriver to adjust the length. But since the links can only bend so far, so the bracelet is closer to a circular shape than oval shape when closed, which ends up leaving a small gap between the case and the bracelet. The edges of the bracelet are a little sharp, but hoping to smooth it out at some point with some very fine grit sandpaper. I'm not in a hurry to put another strap on due to comments saying it's a very tight fit, but a beige perlon strap would definitely be a nice look for the summer. Time will tell how the chrome plated case will age. But for $20 you can't beat it!

My favorite watch and the best value on the planet!

This watch and the all plastic version is my favorite watch. Trust me when I say I have a lot of watches....but I always wear this one. Easy to both read and set (very easy). On face has time, day and date of month (not month which I generally know which one I am in LOL). The lower left button cycles from time, to alarm, to stopwatch, and then to setting mode, then back to time. Upper left button is the light and does other functions like mode and setting when you are in alarm and/or stopwatch. Lower right does start/stop for stopwatch and 12/24 hr when in time mode. Has lithium 10yr battery. All stainless and the band is VERY comfortable. This is the most comfortable metal band I have every had due to the tight design. The price so reasonable I still cannot believe it. Love the tan color face which coupled with the stainless allows the watch for everyday use and even when I put a dress shirt on. You will be happy with this watch and thank you to Casio for continuing to manufacture this watch for many decades and Amazon for carrying it and making it a Prime item.

Great watch for a great price

I'm a huge casio fan and as usual they deliver quality at an exceptional price, the body is made of a resin with a coating that looks remarkably similar to real metal and is very durable and the chain is genuine steel and doesnt bite hair too much, the water resistence is great and the only real cons I can think of here is the backlight which is typical of the less pricey casios being the green f91-w style backlight thats hardly visible during lowlight (if you're hardware handy you can replace it like I did) other than that its what's expected of typical casio quality sturdy, good timekeeping and ample features with a retro style that works with most outfits in my wardrobe!

Casio watch still a great product at a low price

My first Casio lasted 35 years with mostly daily use. When it finally failed I bought this new Casio that was priced right, and I expect the same long life from it.

Nice lil retro watch for a good price

This is a nice little retro watch,it is small though so on a large mans arm,it may look abit small. The band is stainless stell but the body is plastic,silver coated.Great for the price I paid a while back.

I love it. Nothing fancy, but a subtle bit of modest retro class.

It's light weight, metal band, and it has a tone that somehow manages to match my skin tone fairly well. It's based on a classic mechanism , f81w or something, but it's a bit more classy in looks than the rubber band ones IMO. Curious fact, but this family of watch is often used to make bomb timers and is seen on some terrorists. The buttons are not that intuitive, so I often find myself switching to alarm mode by accident or something. The metal band also sometimes pulls on my arm hairs, but it's not bad enough to be bother some. The built in light kinda sucks, but it gets the job down if needed. It's not a back light, but more a side light; oh well. You get what you pay for. It fits wells ; very adjustable, but there isn't a partial release really if your arm swells up a lot for some reason. It has a bit of a retro look, and I tend to like it because my father had a similar watch when he was my age, and yeah, it triggers an emotional joy in me. I have a dozen watches, and rotate thru them regularly, but this is one that I often forget I even have on as it is so light and reserved. It's not quite a gold color; more a camel color, but whatever. The metal band goes a long way into making this look classy, yet it is very light and thin -- comfortable though. It is a bit small, but I think that gives it a retro look and a reserved style. I have big watches, but I tend to like the smaller ones when just being casual about it all. I wish the case was metal, not plastic-like, but it does keep the weight down this way I guess. Doesnt seem to be water proof, but I haven't pushed it yet to find out.

Once you see this one on your wrist, you won't regret.

I own lots of watches since I like watches and telling time without my phone. I have wanted to have a Casio one for a long time but had hard time choosing one! Read lots of reviews and watched some videos as well. Made a decision to spend money on this one and I can tell that I won't regret. So pretty, stylish and light. If you want to own a retro watch, this one would definitely be the one.

A True Reto Classic

I needed a watch because I ride my electric bicycle and it's easier to check time from a wrist watch than from a smartphone. This is the best watch for the money. It's simple to set up, easy to adjust, time is very accurate, and simply a retro classic. I was deciding among this model, the A158W and the F91W. Amazon had an open box at an additional discount on this model so I grabbed it. It was one of the best purchase I ever made. It matches with everything, and I have forgotten to remove it when I take baths, never had any issues with water pouring over it. The LED light is also quite good, even though it does not have the Casio Illuminator. I'm very happy with the purchase, and will be buying again if Casio keeps manufacturing. Just for reference, I'm female, wrist size 6 inches. This watch does not make me look like I'm wearing my dad's watch. It looks better than one of those wimpy female specific watches. Also I don't think the camel color looks grandpa-like. On the contrary, it looks totally retro cool.
