Such a cute toy

My daughter wanted a toy washer for Christmas. I was sure that such a thing didn’t exist, but it does and she adores this. She uses it every day to ‘wash’ her dolls clothes! Definitely would recommend this toy for any little girl or boy.

Great Product - So Life Like

This is the cutest thing! When you instal 3 C-batteries, the machine has life-like sounds! When you power it on, the lights illuminate on the front of the washer. There are 4 buttons, Fill, Wash, Eco-Wash, and Spin. With each wash cycle, the lights change! The tub inside spins when in the Wash and Eco Wash modes. It spins faster, just like real life, when in the Spin mode! The machine will not constantly run. It shuts off after a few minutes. A WONDERFUL FEATURE - it does have a safety feature - when the door opens, the tub stops spinning! And THE BEST FEATURE EVER - the machine has a crank on the back that can be used without batteries. Of course, the sounds and lights will not function without the batteries, but the tub can still spin! So cute! Would suggest this for any child!

GREAT TOY! Big hit Christmas Day.

We bought this toy washer for our daughter (22 months-old) for Christmas 2010. I knew from looking at other toy washing machines that ALL of the washers out there are SMALL so I expected that from this one as well. In fairness, the dimensions are off as others say but the laundry basket is not a one-cup size as one reviewer stated -- it's about two or even three times larger than that. Yes, this washer is small ... but so are the kids we're buying these for! They have tiny hands and this washer is a good size for our nearly two-year old daughter and even her cousins years older than her. It was a big hit Christmas Day at our house with a load of kids aged 16 months through ten years -- all of whom loved it. Everyone took turns playing with this washing machine and stuffing things into it to listen to the sounds and watch the drum spin around. It fits nicely on the counter top of her new play kitchen and is another appliance with which she can pretend play. Do not pass this up because it's small!! Sometimes I think adults loose sight of the fact that these toys are for tiny hands and tiny people and that the size isn't disappointing to THEM. PLEASE NOTE: Almost every negative review came from a parent who had YET to give this toy to their child. I bet they're singing a different tune now if they did go ahead and give it to their child. I also bet their child would be very sad if they returned it now. This washer is realistic looking and sounding. It's one of those toys that will be the big hit of any birthday or holiday. This washer and a Sensational Beginnings two-in-one vacuum cleaner were the things the kids played with the most. Don't let the size deter you.

Safe and fun toy!

This is the cutest little washer! My son loves it! Has realist sounds, is lit up, and spins! My favorite feature is the drum stops spinning when the door is opened, which makes me know my son won't get hurt!! And you can't beat the price!

A good toy but the motorized spinning drum isn’t very durable.

My son loved it and used it quite a bit washing his old socks and clothes from some of his toys. Sadly about a month and a week or so after we bought it the drum stopped turning on its own. You can still use the crank on the back to manually spin the drum. And it still makes all the sounds and lights up. But the drum no longer spins on it’s own. I tried changing batteries. If you help it get started after pushing one of the wash buttons by cranking it once or twice manually sometime it will spin a bit but you can hear the motor making a noise that sounds like it is struggling to complete the cycle. So a good toy, still fun to play with. But I am disappointed the motorized spinning drum gave out so soon. (And only days after we were eligible to return or exchange it via Amazon). Edit: After contacting the company, Camdon Toys via email, they have offered to send us a replacement. They responded to my emails within an hour or so after I sent it. They were courteous and went through some trouble shooting steps with me. When those did not work they offered to send us a replacement free of charge. If the new Washer works better and doesn’t experience the same malfunction in a month or two I will happily raise my review score to a 4 out of 5.

Didn't receive the laundry soap box

It's really cute. Its usually $42 so wen I saw it at $20, I ordered asap. Worth the $20 but I didn't receive the laundry soap box so now i have to improvise for my 3 toddlers.

Realistic and fun

Bought as a gift for my grandson, he loved it. I was surprised at the larger size. Definitely will reccommend this as a gift for boys or girls.

Sturdy and realistic

This is a great toy washing machine abs comes with the accompaniment basket and laundry supplies that was an instant hit for a 3 year old. It’s still standing up strong after a year of use!

Excellent little washing machine - very good value for money!

Bought for a little one who's obsessed with washing machines and very impressed with the quality of the product for such a reasonable price. The item is quite sturdy (the hinges of the door are probably the only weak point, but it would be difficult to make them any sturdier than they already are) and it has a very solid feel overall. There is a little crank handle on the back, which can be used to manually spin the drum around, which is a nice little touch. I was most impressed by the simple little safety features that a built into the product - the drum does spin around quite quickly, which did give me some concerns about injuries if little ones put their hands inside whilst its in motion, but there is a switch in the door release which cuts off the motor when the door is opened. The crank handle on the back of the product can also be easily removed, whilst using battery power, preventing little fingers getting caught in moving parts. Overall a good quality, well-designed and safe little toy that is excellent value for money - will give little ones hours of entertainment!

Absolutely brilliant!

I remember having one of these when I was little, so the nostalgia when giving this to my son was brilliant! It's a great toy, well worth the money. It plays sounds and also spins - just like a real machine! Remember to buy 3x C batteries as not included. Hours of fun and a great addition to a play kitchen.
