Fairly heavy mesh

Love this vest except that it is a heavy mesh and makes my dogs coats sweaty. I bought it for my 72 lb GSD but she is very slender and it tends to slide to one side or the other unless I put it on very tight which she does not like. So... I switched vests with my 74 lb golden doodle and it fits him perfectly. He still gets sweaty under it but he will be getting clipped so it will help to keep him warm.

Easy on off but sizing difficult to fit. Dog likes it cause he thinks we are going hunting.

Nice light weight hi vis vest for dog, purchase for hunting, need / expect durabilty of Carhart. easy on off, but sizing difficult to fit. I have large GSP +70 lbs, bit big for the bread, med was too small, Large too big in neck and length with out some mods( added Velcro for better fit at neck). Dog likes it cause he thinks we are going hunting. Fabric is not Carhartt cotton duct, but looks be be durable nylon mesh, (may pick up cockleburs), not insulated and not protection for belly / chest. May use it more for training and field work, rather that hunting heavy cover.

High Visibility,Velcro strong, mesh is nice for cold/heat

Love the width of the reflective material as well as the bright orange color. The Velcro is strong and thick. It’s quick to get on and off. The mesh material is nice for cold weather and in summer evenings. I wish this came in Red as red is Jasper’s best color.

Fits snug without riding up and choking Sugar and does not hinder her by sliding around.

What I said above. It is perfect for Sugar. I can finally see her when she runs out into the tall grass, she looks like a velociraptor running around out there.

Looked big, just right

I bought this in large size for my 2 year old Siberian Husky for when we take night walks. When I took it out of the package it looked huge but after trying it on my pup looks great ????????

The carhartt dog vest is the most durable and highly visible vest I have found.

I like the Velcro and the orange makes my dogs much safer in the woods during hunting season.The reflectors are highly visible at night from headlights.

Stitching coming loose on the straps.

I really liked the product until I realized the stitching in the straps are coming loose from the main body. This product is used when walking my dog for safety purposes at night. Spent good money for a reputable company's product that I'm disappointed with.
