Waterproof!

Husband loves them! He works in irrigation, sprinkler systems and always gets wet. Since he purchased these boots water no longer soaks thru to his socks

Not bad.

These boots are pretty decent for what I do. I had a previous pair for 2 years and the only part that's worn out is the bottoms. The rest of the shoe is still in good shape. I wish they breathed a bit better though. The laces held up for a long time and the leather looks good.

Good looking boots. Thanks, now we will see how durable they are. If they last, I will post a picture in 6 months. Because that is the picture guys like me want to see. How well they hold up out in the field. Tim 6 months later I am still satisfied with these boots. I work in industrial construction, every day I scratch around on Limerock, or concrete doing my job. It can be a rough, dangerous environment. These boots have held up to the challenge. And I will buy them again. Thank you Carhart, Tim

Decent boot

I like these boots as they don't takew much to break in. THey do stretch a bit. I usually wear a size 42 or US 9 and the toe box area really widened up to about 9.5. I have wide thick feet and these really stretched out, even for my fat foot. Insole is nothing to write home about but works ok. Boots don't breathe well but do keep must snow and water out. THe leather is softer and dries out easily if around dust and gravel. I ended up treating mine with a product called pitchblend. A mix of Mink Oil and Pine pitch. My only serious concern is how beat up the toes can get in very little use. Maybe I drag my feet while working but after 3 days of use I started to get concerned I would cut or wear through the toe. I may look to add a toe guard like KG boot Guard or similar. Soles are realtively soft but help improve shock absorption. 6 months of moderate use and they are still holding up well

sizes are all over the map

Ordered a 11.5 and was just a little small so I ordered a 12 and it was smaller, talked to someone at Carhartt who argued with me about Amazon setting the sizes even though the size was on a tag stitched into the tongue, person also told me the W after the 12 meant Women's not wide which clearly wasn't the case or I wouldn't have been able to even get my foot into it. Terrible customer service from Carhartt, good luck talking to anyone at Amazon. Seems like nice quality but who knows what the sizes are. Am now fighting with Kohl's because Amazon hasn't received the returns that I sent back through Kohl's. My suggestion is to not buy shoes online or at least from Amazon.

Awesome boots

I got these for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves them. Per usual for boots they are a tad larger than regular tennis shoes But he did not want to exchange. They held up well through the snow and any weather. I would purchase these again.

Heavy duty waterproof leather boot

Heavy duty waterproof leather boot; kept my feet warm & dry shoveling snow. The tread gripped well. I also plan to use them for yard work in the warmer months. They're sturdy & seem well made. They fit my wide foot.

bought as a xmas gift for my son; it's his 2nd pair.

My son has a very wide foot. It's very difficult to find a boot that fits him in our town. These ones are a bit snug but stretch out quite quickly. He wears one pair of boots to work; his first pair They have a thicker sole. 2nd pair just as a casual boot; not near the cushioning.

As I expected Carhartt living up to its name, a Great boot!

I bought these boots for ankle support, as i have a serious injury to my foot . The boots give me the ankle support which i bought them for. A great looking boot . I like the stitching pattern look which goes around the boot in various ways, i like the colour. I have worn them on slippery rock surface and i like the grip. I wear a size 13w , i ordered a size 13w and they fit great

Awesome boots!

Had these for about a month and using them to do yard work....feet stay dry and boots are amazingly comfortable. Didn't take long to work them it.........just research how to lace up boots.....it made all the difference for me.....Thank you Amazon....amazing purchase for my painful feet.!

I like these working boots because their are stylish and not heavy at all.

I use them to walk to and from work. Nice and cozy boots.
