Almost 5 stars...

Ultimately it does what we needed it to do which is to keep our pieces in place when rolled up so that we can move puzzles when we aren't actively working on them. BUT the tubing, once extended, is a bit frustrating to try to get compressed back down to any size smaller because you end up with wrinkles and weird spots in the folding parts. I also wish the mat itself was made of something sturdier, it's literally just a long piece of felt so it does wrinkle easily when it's rolled out and in use. I do really like that the size of various puzzles is mapped out on the mat because it helped me figure out where to build my initial edge in the best place on the mat so that it was the easiest to roll up with messing it up.

Puzzle mat

I really enjoy having this puzzle mat. It’s perfect for doing puzzles and having kids around ???? The only unfortunate thing I would say is that it’s hard to move the puzzle around but it’s supposed to stick so ????‍♀️

Good for puzzles

I have a marble top table with browns ,black,tan ,and all the in between wish this had a light tan on the opposite side,because dark pieces get lost on the black side,my table is dark so that doesn't work either.

Buffalo games puzzle mat

First when you open up the puzzle mat, it has wrinkles… best thing to do is put the mat in your dryer with a damp face towel for a few minutes…. Another issue with the mat is that you can’t more/slide a section of puzzle pieces to another spot. Luckily- I have a roll of paper that it was the right size to put down on mat before starting to make the puzzle but otherwise it’s a great mat

Did my first ever 1000 piece puzzle on this!

I found a 1000 puzzle at a used bookstore that I loved, but I usually max out at 350 pieces or so (I don’t have the attention span or table space to work on a puzzle for much longer than those take…). I decided to go ahead and get a puzzle mat and give it a whirl. I figured, if I could put it up—without taking it apart—when I got tired/busy/stressed/whatever, I might actually come back to it at some point. I decided on this particular mat because I didn’t like the idea of an inflatable tube, and most of the other ones I found with good reviews had that. This one was great! The only real con was that the kinda felt-y material is a cat-hair magnet. I think the material is good, though, because the puzzle pieces also cling to it. I was always amazed when I opened it back up and the partially done chunks of the puzzle were still intact! I definitely recommend this mat to anyone who enjoys “puzzling” but doesn’t have a dedicated table to do so.

Works but not nothing to brag about.

Works ok but not great. Would be much better if the pad griped the puzzle pieces better. The straps are a little wonkey to work with. I think that simple tie straps would do just fine. The velcro is a pain in the butt. The more of the puzzle you have completed the better it works. The expandable tube is really a wast of time and of no real value. Why not just have a tube the proper size for the mat to begin with? Looks to me that it benefits the manufacter more than the consumer(smaller package cheaper to ship) Its just a matter of time before the tube breaks at the joints. This is not a bad product but could be great with a little tweaking.

Great for small spaces

I dont have much room to do puzzles so being able to roll up the puzzle im not finished with and set it aside to come back to later is great! Easy to use and holds everything well.

Not worth it!

I was skeptical of buying this because I couldn't see it working! I was right the puzzle pieces hardly stay together just enough to build the puzzle. When rolling it up it keeps to the pieces from falling everywhere, but when you unroll it. You still have to put them back together. The only thing I like about it has the different sizes of puzzles marked on the felt. Overall I would waste the money, Unless you have too!

Trash - this is trash

If I could give this a minus star rating it would be a solid -10. What a piece of garbage! Thin piece of felt and thin plastic tube that pushes in and out like a slinky. Absolutely no way that you are going to be able to roll up your puzzle and have it stay together. I am disgusted and will be trying to get my $30 back. Don't, I repeat DON'T buy.

Not the best product

Puzzle does not stay intact when rolling and unrolling, I’ve had to reassemble the puzzle numerous times until I just gave up and left it open.
