Absolutely wonderful shams!

I’m using these shams with this cotton quilt set because the colors blend. I also have the matching velvet quilt set so I’ll have double shams. This brand of velvet quilt and shams is my favorite. The velvet is on both sides of the shams. Just outright luxurious velvet. I have other velvet quilts but this brand wins the prize.

Velvet bed shams

I was looking for bed-sized pillows for my aqua leather loveseats as they are too deep for most people to sit comfortably. These are lovely shams that fit perfectly for what I wanted. They keep my sofas looking grand. My only issue was in the craftsmanship of them. When I put 2 of the 4 pillows into shams, the zippered seam busted (very easily). I expected tight stitching at both ends where you manipulate pillows in. It was a loose single seam. I can repair it (and will) on my sewing machine. Minor fix for me to do. The invisible zipper was an added surprise. Very nice and sleek!

Looks and feels luxurious - Great value

I love this bedspread. It is well made from quality materials. It feels very soft, it's the perfect color, and it is exactly the weight I was looking for. It looks like it would cost much more than I paid for it.

Beautiful quilt set!

This quilt set is just lovely, and the color is so gorgeous - very pretty for a bedroom where I like soft colors, but not too pale. Only thing I didn't care for were the zippers on the pillow shams. The shams are made well and covered on both sides, but the zipper is very cheap and does not go all the way across the sham. It comes up a bit short and it's short enough that it is hard to get the pillow in there. Then the zipper itself is cheap quality like I said, and you can EASILY rip the opening. Mine ripped about an inch even though I was going very slow and being very gentle with it. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about this set. It is an excellent value and I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Gray is a lovely silvery shade, fabric is soft. Well made. Excellent value! Would buy again.

Spectacular!

Service was great, it got to me really quickly. Just a couple of days. Softness is unsurpassed. I mean I pet the darn thing! Not really, but you get the idea. It is really, truly as soft as a new born baby's skin. The color is gorgeous! Repeat, gorgeous. Multidimensional is not an exaggeration. If I had a jacket from this fabric! Hey, that's an idea. Two things that came up when I was deciding to buy was 1.) that the size runs small and 2) that it was heavy. I don't know what kind of mattress those individuals had, but my queen mattress is 16 inches and I ordered the large just to be safe. Now, I will have plenty of fabric for more pillow cases or what not, perhaps a jacket? It hangs over so far, that it touches the floor! If you order from Brielle, I'd say the size runs TRUE. About the weight, it's velvet. Nice thick, soft velvet at that. Of course it's heavy. That is where I come to my only problem and why it got 4 instead of 5 stars. I would have given it a 4 1/2 at least if that was possible. My problem is that there is little to no batting in the quilt. While the fabric is thick and heavy, the quilt is not really very thick. More like a heavy bedspread. I had to add a blanket for warmth. Something I would not have thought I would need. Otherwise, I could not be happier. I will enjoy this quilt for many years to come. Very, very well made. Worth every single penny!

Ripped Immediately, Take Care When Instering Pillow

Generally, very nice quality. Have not washed yet, so can't say how it will hold up or if it will fade. However, I can say that when I inserted my pillow into the first sham, the seam near the zipper ripped immediately. The reason for this is because the zipper doesn't extend the full length of the sham. I would say it's about 2 inches short on each side. This means you should take care when inserting AND/OR removing your pillow each time! You may even have to fold the pillow in half lenghtwise to do so. I've never had a sham with a zipper before so I don't know if this is a standard practice.

Ohhhh so nice

First of all, let me just say this thing is gorgeous. The sea foam green really changes colors well with different light, and the velvet really gives it an amazing aesthetic, almost ocean-like. It fluctuates between green and bluish silver.Secondly, it's soooo comfy. It's amazingly comfy. I don't like thick, fluffy blankets. This thing is thin, but it's got a nice weight to it. Weighs a lot more than I expected. Comparable to a gravity blanket. It'll be great for layering when it gets cold. The cotton inner lining is cool to the touch and the cotton/velvet combo allows for breathability. And the top of the quilt is just so nice to lay on top of. My dog is definitely also a fan, which is extremely important. There are reviews claiming the king size was too small. I have a fairly tall queen size bed and the edges of the king quilt come about 4 or 5 inches off the floor. Unless you need the very well-sewn edges (see pics) to reach the floor on your king size bed, it's a good size for a king quilt, imo. Great piece of bedding for the price. Looking forward to winter with this bad boy. Edit: it's now been 8ish months and I'm still madly in love with this quilt. It's so pretty and it feels better and better with time. It's breathable...i can feel the air from the Dan move through it and my cotton sheets. It's held up fantastically in the washer and dryer. No fraying or broken stitches and little to no fading. It's been worth every penny. If you're on the fence for some reason, don't hold back, and thank me later.

Beautiful Set

This is an awesome bedding set ! I had tried a few others but they just weren't right . This is made of a beautiful soft velvet feel fabric . I'll update again when I have washed it but don't for see any problems.I'm also waiting for the euro cushions to come back in stock to complete the look! Update, I ordered the queen shams to complete the look instead as I had firm queen cushions. So very happy with all the pieces! Now do I bite the bullet & order the drapes ??!! Update ! I have now washed & dried the set. I'm lucky to have machines that will take large loads as these are king size !! They look great, even better that when I received them. It took awhile for them to dry, due to the weight & size but I'm really happy with this set. We live in Canada so the nights can be quite cold, never mind chilly & this was a good weight & coziness ! The euro cushions also look good as support cushion for our backs if reading at night. :)) !!

beautiful fabric, terrible stitching

While the fabric is lovely, and so is the colour, I shouldn't have to re-sew both zippers back on the pillow cover after trying to insert and perfectly sized pillow. Terrible.
