Would Buy Again

Very nice for a single person. Holds 1 or 2 chicken breasts and cooks very well. Watch cooking time, it gets hot fast and is small enough that food will be done sooner than larger slow cooker. Easy to wash up, doesn't take up much space, excellent value.

Not 1.5 Quarts

For the price I will not return it. . BUT... I bought this based on size. so I am very unhappy and feel cheated. It only holds 5 cups of water , at the most. -when full to the lid slow cookers make a mess by spattering all over the place. So this slow cooker is not even 1.25 quarts. It is actually 1.2 quarts. The unit works well and is easy to clean. It is compact. I am unhappy because the labeling and specifications of this product are inaccurate and untruthful. It would not be such a big deal if it was an 8 or 12 quart slow cooker. 1.25 cup inaccuracy over 24 cups would make a negligible difference at 5.02% But a 20.8% difference? (1.25 /6) -Ridiculous. I made my first pot of split pea soup in it. I had to go down to 3/4 cup of peas from 1 cup of peas, which makes the recipe math intensive and complicates pantry usage and storage. I have leftover ingredients which will not break down equally now. Like I said , I bought it trusting that it really holds 6 cups... I even checked recipes for quantities and water ratios. Buyer beware. Not the end of the world , but not what I paid for.

Perfect Small Cooker

I put one beer plus three small chicken breasts and 1/2 cup of salsa in my new slow cooker. I set it on high and in two hours the chicken was falling apart! 5 of 5 stars

Well made!

So far I’ve soaked beans & made a pot of baked beans enough for the two of us in this little cooker. Also it is good for keeping mashed potatoes warm which frees up the stove for other things in the making. I especially want to use this little cooker for having oatmeal ready for our breakfast in the mornings. Love using it for cooking sliced apples in. Great value for the money!

It works

I like that it is small and easy to wash but big enough to cook for 2. Strangely, it does not have a pressure release hole so I hear the top popping to release steam. It also has a cheap look and feel to it but it gets the job done.

I use this to make my morning jook. Yup, it's my jook box. Anyway, it's got good consistent heat, lightly cooks everything without burning it. What can I say? It's a good jook box.
