Great item!

This is one awesome coffee maker. I love the style and the electronics. And it brews great coffee. It has a “fast” selection which brews very quickly and doesn’t sacrifice flavor. I highly recommend this product.

Somewhat Disappointed

This is a beautifully designed unit and looks great on the counter. I think the price is also good. I am only giving this 4 stars bc like many other coffee makers, it is needlessly complicated. This means it is not senior friendly. Setting the clock is not intuitive and the instruction manual is not clear for the clock or anything else.The font size of the instruction manual is too small and not dark enough. I was able to easily make a pot of coffee but I have no intention of fiddling with any other settings. As of December 2022, a replacement carafe, should you need one will not be available until mid January 2023. According to Braun, the Part Number is AS00002457. As if this date, December 16, 2022, there is no info posted anywhere on the web if you search by the coffee pot model. Hope this helps.

This coffee maker has a lot going for it. With one minor issue worth mentioning. Read on.

The media could not be loaded. *** The good ???? ✅ Overall Quality: I do a quick travel around the coffee maker in my video to show inside. The thick plastic feels very durable and the metallic accents make this brewer look at its place on my counter. The golden metallic filter is tightly woven yet lets water come through gracefully. I tried to mechanically grind my coffee to a few notches above espresso ground and it sill dripped fluidly without having to much cofeee ground at the bottom of the carafe. The activated carbon filter holder is a very nice touch to ensure quality and consistency in the taste of the coffee. ✅ Touch control: In the second part of my video, I show how sensitive the buttons are. That could be an issue if the buttons were closer to each other or smaller, but some design engineer did his job correctly here. ✅ User guide: This brewer will work out of the box without any configuration. However, there are two features that I really wanted to use, the programming (to have the smell of fresh coffee in the morning when I wake up) AND the temperature I want the carafe to remain at for 4 hours. These features are well explained with pictures and text in the user guide. *** The Heads-up ???? The number of cups cannot be selected manualy. So if I pour water up to the 12 cups mark in the reservoir, then that's about how much coffee is going to drip. It is actually quite accurate as you my see in my video. I put 6 cups in, 5.75 cups come out. That means that the coffee maker has to be filled every time. ???? Replacement carafes are simply not an available option. To be faire, I actually found one, but it was priced higher than a new brewer, so I did not even took it in account. As the carafe is made of glass and not borosilicate, i fear that if I break it one morning when cleaning it, I'll have to get a completely new brewer. Verdict: 4⭐ for the absence of replacement carafe.

Makes good coffee, perhaps a bit pricey

This Braun coffee maker is a decent option for coffee drinkers who value customization and convenience. The BrewChoice Plus feature offers four brew options, and the Brew Over Ice feature maintains the bold taste of coffee even when brewed over ice. The Fast Brew option is handy when you need to brew a large carafe quickly. The 14-cup carafe seems to be made of regular glass (not the more sturdy borosilicate) and the warming plate lets you select the temperature level for up to four hours before the auto shut off. The controls are easy to operate and I like having the big digital clock display. Coffee tasted fine, about what I'd expect from a drip brewer. The built in water filter is nice and would help if using tap water. Overall, the Braun coffee maker provides some useful features for coffee lovers but may not be a cost-effective option for those who do not require advanced features.

A great machine by a very reputable brand

This thing is full of features which would take a very long, TLDR kinda review so I'm going to cover the important, most common stuff I have experienced. Mm'kay? This unit is not small. It has a significant footprint on your counter or wherever you put it. It's attractive and fits in well with my kitchen appliences and general look. The carafe is solid and easy to clean. The included, changeable water filter is easy to install, though I don't really know, unless you have really poor water quality if these really do much in any coffee maker. The multiple brew strengths are a great feature and do actually work unlike some of the off brand coffee makers I have reviewed. The clock/display isn't overly bright so not super helpful in that way but the panel is easy to read and understand. Cleaning is super easy as it has a clean cycle that you use to get any deposits, sediment or scaling out of the system. It is quite efficient and makes my coffee in good time. I do think that it could use a better post brew timer for the hotplate as it stays on quite a while and is very warm. But that's about the only negative I an come up with. This is a higher end product but priced competitively. I have absolutely no issue recommending this if you are a coffee lover who wants a good cup, made consistently every morning. Good stuff.

The Braun KF5650WH Pure Flavor Coffee Maker is a great investment for anyone who loves coffee. The carafe quality is sturdy, and the triangle-shaped filter ensures that you don't need to use paper filters. Setting up the machine is also very convenient, and the brew over ice coffee feature is a nice touch. One of the best features of this coffee maker is the automatic drip mechanism, which ensures that the coffee drips directly into the carafe, regardless of how you place it. This was a welcome change from my previous coffee maker, where I had to be very careful with how I positioned the carafe. The warming plate has 3 settings, which is a great feature that allows you to keep your coffee warm for as long as you need it. With a 14-cup capacity, this coffee maker can satisfy the needs of even the heaviest coffee drinker. However, there are a few things that I didn't like about this coffee maker. Firstly, I found that I had to set the Auto Time every day unless I misread the manual. Secondly, since you don't use paper filters, cleaning the coffee filter can be a bit messy. To solve this problem, I started to use paper filters even though they are not required.
