I was saved by this ram. I have a Powerbuilt engine crane which was given to me several years back. In 2018, I purchased this ram as a back up because the original had been used numerous times and at over 15 years old it was just a matter of time before it would leak. Today was the day. In the middle of pulling a motor the original leaked. Was able to drop the load safely and in 5 minutes the Big Red was installed and we were able to complete the removal and replacement without any further issues. Works perfectly after sitting for five years. Not sure how long it will last but it did save the day. For now it will stay in place and I’ll rebuild the original to become the back-up. I purchased it for less than fifty dollars and was delivered without any issue. Even at the current price it’s a good deal in my opinion.

fit perfect on my 2 ton harbor freight engine lift.

i bought this Pittsburgh 2 ton engine lift last year from harbor freight and was working great for the few times i used it but i made a critical mistake one day when i needed some space in the garage. when the boom arm was out but with no weight on it i folded up the bottom support legs before lowering the boom all the way down. the lift tipped over and pulled the original ram apart. i put it together and it didn't work after that. soo i ordered this one and it was a perfect fit. bolted right up and has removed a few motors now without any issues. if you have this HF engine lift with a messed up ram this one works perfectly for it. to early to tell for longevity but so far so good.

Strong but rusty

The chrome on the cylinder rusted right away after 2 days standing outside. The first one received was defective, they replaced it.

Awesome for the price

Awesome replacement cylinder. Got it on sale for $75 and it works great. Takes 5 minutes to install and away you go. Definitely recommend

Great product and experience

First ram I received did not double pump nor did it lift any weight, experiencing significant bypass. I submitted for a return and received a working ram in perfect working order, return was easy and the working unit i received works perfectly.

Nice for the price

Okay quality single action lift ram. Used on a engine hoist, the smaller lift capacity reduced lifting by 25%, single action make a little more work to lift a item but it dies the job I need it to. Very good for the price.

What is that even

Looks used already, with a fresh coat of paint over top, has paint chips right out of the box Not a double pumper either wtf! Only single pumper, could have bought a single for less then this one not to mention you lowered your price day after fml! Dangit
