Forget the pottery barn chairs!

Such a great chair for littles! Love the top pocket on the back for ease of moving bug of course it is so lightweight.

Autistic Grandson now sits through a whole movie without getting up, bouncing, or rocking! LOVE IT!

THis chair was for my 6 year old autistic grandson. IT IS PERFECT!!!! He has sensory disorder and has a hard time getting comfortable. He usually sits on an exercise ball. Which he is ALWAYS bouncing on. He struggles when sitting in chairs. Even with pads and sensory devices. But THIS chair, he FINALLY is comfortable!!! I suspect most people think the same thing I thought when I ordered this chair. I expected that it was made out of cushion. IT ISN"T! It is made of some sort of hard foam material. The seat seems to have a very thin layer of some type of cushion, but I mean VERY THIN! Maybe not even a half inch. It is very firm. YET very LIGHT WEIGHT! He moves it from room to room with him. He now can sit for very long periods of time without moving, getting up, rocking, or bouncing!!!!!! THIS IS A MIRACLE! The cover has a zipper so you can remove it to wash. This is so helpful. Cause as any caregiver of an autistic knows, there are messes galore! lol I cannot recommend this chair enough! For any child, not just autistic children. I would think every child would love this chair. It is VERY roomy! While it does sit low to the ground, the seat itself is wide and deep. My son (grandsons father) has even sat in it. plenty wide enough for even an adult. SO any child will be able to sit in this chair. And two small children, say toddlers, could most likely sit in it together, although would be snug. And if you happen to love an autistic child, who seems to never be comfortable, I say try out this chair. It is so reasonably priced, that you really have nothing to lose! It is WELL worth the price. Hope it brings as much comfort to every child that it has brought to my grandson!

Zipper redesign needed

I bought my second Big Joe Art Deco, Lenox Morganite Pink Kid's Chair for my 11 month old granddaughter today. She loves having her own chair and it seems sturdy and well made. It is a good height for her climbing in and out and standing on. She has no problem dragging the chair along the floor. I can even sit in it and it doesn't collapse. The only issue I have with the chair and the reason that it didn't receive 5 stars from me is the zipper placement. I have wood floors and the zipper of the chair runs along the bottom seams. To prevent scratching the floors, I taped the zipper with gorilla tape and then put felt circles at the bottom corners. The felt would not stay stuck to the material of the chair so that is why I now have the zipper itself taped. I also removed the labels. Big Joe should consider either moving or eliminating the zipper entirely or putting slider tacks at the bottom to protect floors. I also bought their dog bean bag - baganimal chair that has a similar issue with the zipper. I ended up sewing flake fur on top of the zipper end to protect my floors.

Great toddler chair

Great size, will definitely grow with my toddler. He loves to sit in it and read, it’s so cute. Wish it were a tad softer, the fabric is soft but it feels kind of light and stiff inside.

Cute chair for toddler

Exactly what we were looking for. This fits a small toddler and not so much a kid older than 3 years old. It’s a denser foam. For the price compared to other chair options you can’t beat it.
