Roll roll your glue...lets spread the good glues!

I like this product because for wide wood its much easier to spread the glue and get a consistent amount over the areas you wish to glue. The bottle holds almost a whole 8 ounces of your favorite glue. Whether it be for construction,cabinets,doll house, or even home projects with the children this product will help in spreading the glues! The one or 2 problems are the glue that i used, Elmer's' glue max, tended to be difficult to get off the roller. Whether it was dried or wet mad no difference. If your in a hurry and didn't clean the roller it will still work and give a consistent glue pattern. Thats a bonus, but cleaning the glue off is the one stickler i found. There other is it takes a short while before the glues goes over the entire roller. So i had to squeeze the bottle and roll the roller over te glue that was on the item i was trying to glue. All in all even with these small problems i would recommend this product with the added caveats!

Makes gluing a breeze.

I am making edge grain cutting boards. Gluing the strips of wood was taking too long as the glue was starting to set up on the first boards. This roller bottle has sped up the process immensely. What was taking me 20 minutes to glue up only takes 5 minutes. Great product.

Just too awkward

Seemed like a good idea, but it's too difficult to manage the dispensing glue. Glad it wasn't too expensive.

Get your glue on

Good bottle. Does what it is intended to do. All is made to be durable and long lasting EXCEPT for the small tab used to plug the glue hole. Right out of the box it didn't plug and wouldn't stay in the hole. I got around it by just using a small screw. Other than that, this product is a great addition to any shop. Cleans up with ease. Glue goes on really easily. And easy to use. Buy it!!

I do not know why I never had one of these before!

It makes it a breeze to apply a complete, even coat of glue to larger surfaces. What a work and time saver. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is you have to remember to clean the roller before the glue has a chance to film up. It's easy to to do...I just keep a wet rag on hand and wipe it down. Even if you wait too long it cleans up easily enough, just more work.

Does what it should, but not exactly how i expected it would

The roller works, and works better than any other spreading method i have tried, not that i have tried many... but the roller wheel doesn't actually roll very much. Between the viscosity of the Titebond II and the friction of its rolling mechanism, it just doesn't roll all that well. But it does move, and eventually will spread the glue that is applied to the wheel from the bottle, so its hard to complain it doesn't do its job. It just does it a bit awkwardly. Perhaps someone will design and sell a proper rolling mechanism, but till then, this is fine.

easy glue

I saw a carpenter in a shop one time using this type of glue bottle years ago but never thought to buy one until now about fifteen years later. This thing is so amazing I still can't believe I didn't buy a couple years earlier. The glue just flows on the piece of wood so easy that it brings a smile to your face for no more un-even coverage and no more glue on your hands or clothes. I bought three of these bottles so I would have a couple of spares for I never ever want to be without one of these amazing glue bottles. Please due yourself a favor and buy a couple and start getting your glue ups done faster,easier, and cleaner. Master craftman for over thirty years................................George

Big Horn Glue Roller Bottle

This roller bottle offers a good alternative to using a roller or brush - but the glue needs to be water based so you are able to have an easy clean up of the tool once the job is completed. Personally, I tend to use this very rarely and tend to use a foam roller for my large gluing projects.

Great for model makers

I purchased this to apply pva glue to 2mm card & then apply printed paper sheet to the card. Works well for model card building kits. A good alternative to jumbo pritt sticks.

Poor product.

Used once, binned. Glue wouldn't come out so I used the actual glue dispenser direct from the glue bottle. Used the roller, still can't get the wood glue off. Not the best buy I've ever made.

Not bad, not perfect.

This product spreads glue nicely, but keep a wet rag handy to clean the roller after use, because the glue doesn't just peal off like other products. Thete is a little stopper to plug the glue hole, but it won't stay in the hole, so the roller head has to be removed and the reservoir capped between uses.

Small bottle, medicore design

I bought this to speed up the glue application process. the hole is SUPER Small. So I had to drill it out. so the cap doesnt work. Cut that off And I re-made the roller part so it actually fit my Rollers. but I guess it works alright.
