well worth the price

Solidly built of cast iron and tightens good. Only 2 things I don't care for: the jaws are smooth some items will move when clamped, 2 the base clamp is strong but again it is smooth so the vice will swivel. all in all though it was well worth the price.

COMPLETE FAIL

The vise broke the first time I tried to use. It sheared off completely where it clamps to the table. Poor metal was used in the casting process. Poorly manufactured. Poor design -- it needs a much studier support member. The engineers who designed this clamp should be fired. If you can apply too much torque when attaching it to the bench, they obviously didn't do any calculations. F+ for design, build, metallurgy, and ruining Bessey's reputation.

great value for the price

I got this at home depot for the same price and it really does the job for what I need basically twisting and branding small gauge wire. also I can pack it away in a tool bag when not using it

A poor purchase.

It was too weak for what I wanted and with a torque wrench it broke. A poor purchase.

Very disappointed. It can't keep the item still. Horrible product.

Not that strong and slips

Cheap. Just a little bit could go a long ways. Beef it up, add some texture to the jaws, and develop something to prevent slipping on the clamp. It would only take a little bit to make this a priceless item since it would last forever. Instead, skimping out just a little made this a failure. Do better next time.
