Working good so far!

Unlike other reviewers my Phase one lasted 3 1/2 weeks!. I just finished it and can tell a small difference in my skin, but definitely enough that I am excited to move onto the next phases. My skin is definitely smoother and the texture looks great. For any ones reference I am 44 years old. Fair complected and have plenty of fine lines so hope to report more after phase 1 and 2.

Pump malfunction

I really like the product. However, this is the second set that I have purchased where one of the pumps does not work at all. This time, I did not discover the broken dispenser until past time I could have returned the item. Very frustrating.

Dispenser needs overhaul! Tired of having to replace product mid use!

Love it but as before, the dispensing technology does not work. According to directions, this should last a year. It does not even last through the first cycle. Either it’s the pump not working or the bottle is empty. Sadly, a nice product but not worth the trouble.

Please be aware!

It seems that the product has the same affect as retinol does, yet it seems to be working. However, like someone else said here, I also ran out of the the phase 1A product in 5 days, having followed the suggested regiment. I moved on to the phase 2, the result was the same - phase 2A is gone in 5 days, not in 14 days. At first, I thought something was wrong with the package, or I did something wrong. But then, when the second did the same, I am wondering whether it was done intentionally. If it was done intentionally, it is a very unethical business practice. If any one wants to buy this product, please be aware of this. AK

Phase 1 did not last 15 days. 8 days only worth of product.

I ran out of the first phase after 8 days using the exact amount of pumps recommended. I emailed company and asked should I go to next phase? No response yet. Not sure what do do now. Did not last 15 days. Face feels good but would like to finish in 45 days. Not 24 days. Especially for the price.

Phase 1 Has Ample Serum, Sensitive Skin Itched But Adjusted, Softer Skin (45-day Update Added)

I just finished stage 1 of the Beauty Bioscience R45 “3 Phase” Retinol Treatment Serum. I’m providing an initial review about Phase 1 and will update after each phase or when done with the regimen. I’ve had no issue of insufficient serum in Phase 1. This is a once-a-night regimen for 45 days. Those who apply it 2x a day aren’t following the regimen and will run out early. My Phase 1A and 1B containers arrived full. The bottom of the container is clear, so I could see it was full and I also saw gradual emptying with use. I received ample serum for the phase. I used the Phase 1 serum nightly on my entire face for 17 nights and still have a small amount of both serums left. There’s no guesswork as 1A and 1B empty premeasured amounts when I give each pump a firm press all the way down. I mixed one pump of each of the 1A and 1B serums in my palm and applied it nightly. That amount was plenty for my whole face. I did try a double pump of each on my first use, and it was too much product and wasteful. I’m starting Phase 2 tonight as it’s been more than 15 days, and my skin feels acclimated to the retinol. I’m in my 50’s with dry and sensitive skin. I’m a reluctant retinol user because of previous irritation and real risks (especially with sun exposure), and this is the first retinol product I’ve used regularly. My skin hasn’t reacted well to most retinol products I’ve tried, though I’ve tolerated occasional use of a few products with low concentrations and/or more easily tolerated forms. But it’s known to be effective so I’ve been curious to see if retinol could take my skin to the next level. I tolerated Phase 1 of this kit surprisingly well. My skin did itch like crazy the first 5 nights or so, but I kept going as I didn’t get redness, swelling or other side effects. My skin has felt fine and looks calm since the itching stopped. I do think it helped to apply a rich, dry skin cream (Farmacy Honey Halo is great) after the retinol serum. Mainly, I notice my skin feels softer. I think my fine lines by my mouth seem less noticeable, but it’s too soon to judge. So far, this regimen exceeds my expectations and I’ll continue use and update. 5 stars. 4/24/2021: I finished all 3 phases without peeling, flaking or significant irritation (just initial itching). The graduated process was excellent for me, given my limited prior retinol use and sensitive skin. I finished at least 15 days in each phase and had leftover product in all 3 containers. I see and feel noticeable benefits. My skin is so soft and smooth, and fine lines appear minimized. My worst lines by mouth look smoother and I think the sagging there looks more taut. My skin tone looks more even and dark spots minimized, though they didn’t all disappear. I’m happy as the overall effect is that my skin looks more youthful, plus the product wasn’t uncomfortable to use once a night. Definitely recommend.
