Easy to set up

I bought this tent for our 3-month-old's first visit to the beach. The tent is easy to set up, blocks the sun and I love the zippered bug nets on the front. I do recommend taking a portable fan as even with the vents open it does get a little toasty inside. On the really windy days, we did feel the need to set our beach bag inside to keep it from blowing away but all the other days it was very stable with just the stakes. Getting the tent back inside the carry bag takes a little practice but it's just like folding up a car visor. My only con is I wish the tent was just a tiny bit taller. I know this company has a taller option but I really just need it to be a few inches taller. I'm 5'5 and I was able to just barely sit inside to feed my baby. Overall, really happy with the purchase and we plan to use if we go to the beach again or just in the backyard.

Good purchase!

I was a looking for some sort of tent with a zipper to protect from bees and other bugs, and this is perfect. I was a little nervous because there aren’t a ton of reviews, but very happy that I decided to buy it! Easy to fold up and put back in the carrying case. Looks and functions exactly as pictured. Can’t wait to use it!

Great product

I used this tent at the beach to keep my 10 month old out of the sun and he LOVED it. The wind was a little strong so the stakes didn’t secure into the sand very well but other than that I have no complaints!

Just a little small

This is a great little shade! It's a little awkward to fold but they put the folding directions EVERYWHERE! They're on the packaging, in the packaging as a flyer, on the tags and there's a video. I wish it were just a couple inches taller and longer in diameter so I didn't have to hunch and so my big butt could fit in there with baby when trying to calm her for a nap. For reference, I'm 5'9" and a size 14, so slightly smaller parents won't have a problem getting in. We're working on sleep training and the Brica foldable travel bassinet fits in there perfectly when open. It also fits in the shade sleeve when folded! Talk about perfect because it's a two for one when you're schlepping stuff from the car to wherever you go. I'm very pleased with this purchase and absolutely recommend this for all parents.

Not the one for you.

Given the opportunity I would not buy this product again. As a keen follower of the mantra ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ I erred on the side of caution when choosing a tent for the summer. I opted for the babymoov, although it was slightly more pricey than others available, as it’s a normally trusted name in baby products and seemed to have good reviews. Firstly, pay close attention to the dimensions given in the specifications, this is essentially slightly bigger than a Wendy house you would pick up at ELC. The photos are deceiving. Whilst my 4 week old and 3 year old fit nicely inside, there is little room for anything else. Second, and most importantly, you need a PhD in astrophysics and engineering to refold this tent. The instructions are utterly useless. Even after scouring YouTube for guides it took a while to find a method that actually worked for my tent, each one seems to have a mind of its own and refused to collapse cooperatively into its neat little circle. I hasten to add that the videos I ended up using were parent self uploaded guides and not the babymoov one, which was also utterly useless (and infuriating as I watched the woman smugly collapsing her tent). Finally, after the debacle of ‘fold-gate’ the tent is left misshapen, looking like a sad two-man left over from a teenagers first foray to Glastonbury. Mine now lolls drunkenly to the side and is a shadow of its former springy self. I have used this tent twice thus far and attempted to fold it at least a thousand times. So, as I said in the headline, not the one for you - you can do better. Babymoov, if you read this - I’d like my money back please and perhaps reconsider the competency of your design team! Seriously, PhD needed.

Good size, difficult to repack

Bought to take on hols to Caribbean. Lightweight and Pops up easily enough but everyone is right about how difficult it is to pack away again! After several YouTube videos and a marital dispute we concluded the best advice was simply to ignore all instructions and try to do it instinctively. It hasn't gone back to the original shape, but close enough to get it back in the carrier. It is quite big so wouldnt fit in a regular suitcase. It's a good size when up and does shade baby- we managed to get the activity mat in it so she was happy lying there. But we ended up not using it much on our holiday as preferred staying out of sun altogether. Hopefully it will get more use on the garden and uk summer.

Perfect- not as difficult to fold away as anticipated!

Fantastic quality, light, well made, creates great shade and doesn't get too hot inside. Easy to fold and definitely not as complicated to put away as I expected- it's much clearer if you watch a YouTube video posted by a customer instead of the useless company one (which was laughably unhelpful.)

Great when set up but a real pain to fold up

Oh my. Despite all the youtube videos I watched, I felt that folding it up is rocket science. Get ready to feel embarrassed at the beach when you spend 5-10 tries to fold it at the end of the day. Why can’t the manufacturer just make a clearer video or at least some hand prints/ printed instructions on the bottom layer which you use to fold it in?

Hard to fit back into bag, but ideal tent

Bought this for my new little one on these nice sunny days. The tent itself is lovely and easy to just pop up and it is good enough quality for its use but where I have a hard time is folding it back up. I've had several other people try folding it as well with no success so it is being stored tucked in against the wall instead of in its bag..
