Tough rod holders

These rod holders are the best I have ever used

A quality fishing rod holder

I am satisfied with the unit - I did, however, have to make a follow up order for a side mount as the base of the mount that came with the rod holder is flat and would not fit well to a rounded gunnel. the side mount does the job but there too, I would suggest that three (3) mounting holes be used so figure on adding the third hole (above and central to the existing 2 holes) to make an even more solid mount. Even having to had to make this miodification, I would recomment this rod holder to anyone who wishes to have a good quality unit.

Great product but heavy

Excellent rod holder, however, it is heavy. It will be the best product if the rod holder uses the same material as the base.

Great value!

I used these for crappie fishing. They work great. Plenty of clearance for any type of reel. You can bend them if needed to get the rod tips closer to the water. For the price, well worth it.

Good enough

The only way one of these will every be perfect, it will have to be like the Hover Board idea from Back to the Future. Just hovers near the place you toss it and easy to just grab back up. Other wise this is about as good as it gets.
